17 Times TV Characters Actually Said They Were Bisexual
"It doesn't take an intellectual to get that I'm bisexual!"
There's been a big increase in bisexual characters on TV over the past years, and it's amazing.

The CW
However, it's still pretty rare for a TV character to say the words, "I'm bisexual," or to even acknowledge that they like more than one gender.

NBC
The Good Place cast confirmed that Eleanor is "super bisexual," but her character never directly called herself bi.
But the good news is that more TV shows are starting to openly discuss bisexuality and even have characters directly come out as bisexual! Here are 17 characters who were out as bisexual:
1. Miles Hollingsworth, Degrassi: Next Class
Netflix
2. Darryl Whitefeather, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Of course, a character never directly saying the words "I'm bisexual" doesn't make their sexuality any less valid! But it's still really nice to see more openly bi characters on TV — and I hope we get to see even more of them in the coming years.
