That’s right: Tom Hanks was casually shopping for typewriters and ended up selling Girl Scout cookies on the way out because he’s THAT wholesome."

My mom happened to mention that it was my birthday, and Whitney took some of the balloons that can be seen onscreen during Mia’s bachelorette party, and told her to give them to me as a present. One time, he sat in First Class 1A on a 747 (which is right in the nose of the plane), so there was nothing but a wall in front of the seat. My dad was pissed and told his friends it was time to go, and the bartender stopped them on their way out. Before he left, Gene and his entourage told the bartender my dad was paying for their drinks — it cost my dad almost $100 to pay for their alcohol."

"I met Dolly Parton twice while working at Dollywood. The first time we were in the park before the season started, and she was shooting commercials. When we got there that day, they had turned our shop into her dressing room, so we weren't allowed in at first. But when she found out, she let us in. There were buffet tables set up and she told us to help ourselves, and that she didn't need all of that food anyway! In-between takes, she talked to us about what we were doing, where we were going to college, what we were studying, and so on.

The second time was a year later before the park opened. She was doing an interview with one of the local news stations up in the balcony of the big emporium shop. I was with a friend down below watching, and when it was over, Dolly leaned over the railing and yelled, 'HEY! I remember you! Stay right there!' She came downstairs, gave me a big hug, and asked how I was. That was one of the most surreal moments ever — a flipping legend like Dolly remembered me a year later."

We were at a small bar taking up two of the eight seats (the rest of which were empty). One woman tried to talk to Richard (she was quite excited and really wanted to chat with him), and genuinely said nothing to provoke his awful response. The immediate words out of Richard's mouth were, 'You know, just because it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant, it doesn't mean you have to eat it all.' The woman was a little bigger than average, but nothing to suggest she drove restaurants out of business. Everyone was shocked."

About 10 minutes after the specified end time, someone from his team went out to the end of the line of people waiting and said 50 Cent would stay and say hello to all those still in line at that point. He stayed more than two additional hours to do this, essentially more than double his agreed-to time period — those in line were so hyped to see 50 Cent. It was a very kind and gracious thing to do."

He ordered a drink for himself and a house red for her, so I turned to her and asked if she preferred cab or merlot. She gave me the DIRTIEST look, like, how dare I address her directly, and flounced off to a table without answering. The guy said, 'Just give her red, whatever...' and didn't leave a tip (they ordered four rounds, and no tip each time). They also complained that someone else came in and sat at a table near them and tried to get me to make them move. The other guests didn’t even try to approach her or anything — she was just mad that they dared to sit at a neighboring table."

"I was an extra in Dead Poets Society, and at the end of our last day of shooting (which happened to be New Year's Eve), he decided to come into the auditorium where the extras (400 kids) were being kept and he entertained us for a solid 20 minutes. It was such a sweet thing to do — I'm sure he was tired and wanted to be with his family, but it was unforgettable for all of us.

I got to meet him again and told him how much I appreciated what he did on set, and he said, 'Hey, I appreciate what YOU did.' Just a kind, sweet man."
