32 Products I Don't Understand How You've Lived Your Whole Life Without

This just in: you need a peanut butter knife.

    1. AirPods-compatible hooks for anyone who hasn't wanted to admit that their beloved, trendy, high-tech earbuds don't actually stay in their ears very well. Even if they do, you could definitely use a little extra protection against losing such splurge-y items, especially when exercising or on the go.

Promising review: "The hooks are comfortable and solve the problem of the earbuds falling out over and over again. An unexpected benefit is that the Pods can sit gently on the ear; no need to shove them inside to secure them. I can barely feel the Pods or the hooks. Glad I found these…they solve all problems. And I can wear my glasses while wearing them. Great price, too." —TutorMaven

Get them from Amazon for $10.25+ (available in four colors).

    2. An impressive peanut butter knife specially designed to get EVERY LAST DROP of goodness out of the jar, without getting your hands all sticky. It'll save you money, mess, and meal-prep time.

long knife with curved end and red handle next to a peanut butter jar
    jar scraped clean

Promising review: "It will save your life! Give you wings! Make you taller! More handsome! It will reverse male-pattern baldness!! It will teach your dog to behave! Has been known to bring feuding families back to an amicable place of respect and love! Your glass will always be half full! You will suddenly find yourself only grabbing on-sale items grocery shopping (by accident even!). Just having one PB-Jife in the household has been noted as a confirmed good luck charm and beacon for positivity and fortune to befall you!* Two days on Amazon Prime later, and here I am full of life, typing this with my CLEAN HANDS AND KNUCKLES! After just scraping the bottom of a big ol'peanut butter jar out in two seconds effortlessly. It might look big and awkward (it's a monster of a one-use tool), but seriously if you have an intense dislike for getting PB on your fingertips dealing with jars — this is the solution you've been looking for. Long live PB-Jife.

*Will not do anything in that first paragraph. I'm sorry." —CW

Get it from Amazon for $13.99.

    3. Handy dandy faucet extenders so your little one can actually reach the sink to wash their (often v nasty) hands. They'll feel more grown-up and you'll feel like there's one less hurdle to teaching them independence in the bathroom.

kid washing hands under white and gray faucet extender, which makes the water come out closer to the front of the sink
    Amazon

Promising review: "Before I knew a thing like this existed, I spent the time it took to wash my squirming kiddo's hands one at a time wondering how long it was going to take for his arms to grow enough to reach the faucet. I'm so glad I have this thing now! The setup is just taking it out of the box and stretching the rubber part around the faucet; took two seconds plus some time to adjust to the best angle. Now I can wash my 15-month-old's hands at the same time and the whole process is much faster and easier. He liked it right away too! A bit too much honestly. The worst part about this product is my toddler grabbing it and trying to use it as a water launcher, but that has been easy enough to avoid. The little rubber part pivots a bit so there is flexibility in how you wrap it around your faucet and what angle the water comes out of the chute, but it doesn't pivot THAT much, so as other reviews have mentioned it won't work with upward-angled faucets." —Michelle G.

They're absolutely cute enough to look forward to showing them off on date night, without worrying about the bulges in clothing or tedious hand washing that come with fancy lingerie. I recently picked up a couple more colors and I will continue to buy this perfect style!

Promising review: "I’ve been searching for years for a supportive but comfortable bra that doesn’t ride up, pinch, or scratch and actually provides support. I was also hoping for a bra that despite its designer price tag, doesn’t curl or fall apart. This is it. This bra feels soft, invisible, and supportive. It looks perfect and doesn’t cause any bulges front or back. Other bras I have tried have included Mystere, Warner’s, and other styles of Natori. No comparison — this is a great bra. I’m clearing my drawer and buying four more." —sandra freas

For now, they work great for my umbrella." —Adam S.

Promising review: "I purchased these for my college-age kids for their studies at my daughter's urging (environmental reasons). It has been a great success! The Study Mode through the app has made studying for exams much easier and less of a hassle. No more bent cards. No more lost cards. All of them are in the Study Mode just waiting for self-quiz. My daughter even connects her phone to her TV and turns studying into trivia night!" —Amazon Customer

It can also be hung on a wall!

Promising review: "Don't know how I lived without it! Before I bought this, I had to stash diapers and wipes under the changing table and bend down and grab when needed. I also had a pile of burp cloths on a side table, and all the baby's outfits in drawers. I bought this and it CHANGED MY LIFE. I keep the wipe warmer on it, as intended, always have easily and readily accessible diapers, burp cloths in one side pocket, and outfits in another. I hung this on the wall next to the changing table so I have it at an easily accessible height, ready to use and to grab whatever I need. I Love the nursery organizer and would recommend to anyone who asks." —Louis Klapper

model eating ramen out of bowl with phone propped horizontally on it
bowls with pink and green lids, one holding phone and grapes
    Amazon

Promising reviews: "Haven't had it long, but so far it has survived a toddler, a kindergartner with a grudge, and an angsty pre-teen in addition to allowing me to enjoy my lunch while watching an obscene amount of YouTube. Not only do I like it, but I'll probably be buying another in a different color after it is inevitably stolen by the previously mentioned pre-teen." —dabston

"It's very light, with a huge capacity for soups, salads, mac 'n' cheese, spaghetti, stews, etc. If I didn't have any dishes, this actually would be the only thing I need other than a plate. Love the lid, as you can put it in the microwave, and the top does not blow off. It WILL stain with tomato-based sauces. Who cares, as long as I've got my bowl, I'm happy! Great for camping as it is virtually weightless. :) It's pretty much indestructible." —Sheryl L. Ketchum

Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (available in three colors).

It's thick, but I wear it year-round in Dallas and Chicago. It's my favorite hat. The fit is snug to the point that I can sling it back without it falling off and it fits over my afro or straight hair the same and doesn't lose is stretch after washing." —CE.

    16. Dawn Platinum Powerwash Dish Spray, an awesome grease-buster that'll save you scrubbing and change the dishwashing game for good — by making it actually kinda...fun?!?

A model's hand spraying the product on dirty dishes with text
spray removing grease from a pan with text
    Amazon

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Elizabeth Lilly loves this stuff! She says: "I live in an apartment without a dishwasher, and I honestly use that as an excuse to order takeout instead of cooking. But as soon as I got my hands on a bottle of this stuff (regular Dawn is my go-to dish soap, BTW), I put it to use on both a saucepan I used to make homemade enchilada sauce *and* the casserole dish I baked those enchiladas in, which had a ton of caked-on food. It really does work like I say it does! Like, scary well."

Promising review: "Is it wrong that I wish this came with a holster for the spray gun? Seriously, I see a dirty dish and I want to pull it out, twirl the gun around my finger, and spray, just like in the wild, wild West. The soap is superior to any other; I even use it as a pre-wash for stains on my clothes. There's nothing it hasn't removed. The power wash sprayer is superior. It's easy to use, easy to whip out, soap stays soapy, and rinses clean. I don't feel like I'm wasting any or need to spray more. You can get in close and spray a cup; spray a little further back and you can hit a whole plate. I know it's sad to be this happy over something so simple, but it really does make a task that much easier, and that is appreciated. I will have a Power Wash spray bottle in the bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and pet area, because those are all the places I've carried it. Great product. The soap never fails, cuts through everything, gets rid of any greasy feeling on any material — pans, plastic, walls, and counters — and the spray is fun." —Sssshhhh

    18. A five-pan organizing rack for anyone who is 137% DONE with the cacophony that usually results from pulling a pan out of their stack. Cooking bacon and eggs while your S.O. is still asleep? You can do it now.

reviewer's cabinet with the vertical rack on a shelf holding five different size pans
the rack laid horizontally holding four pans

It has a hole and comes with hardware to allow you to screw it into one place to keep it secure if you want!

Promising review: "This organizer works beautifully! No more cluttered cabinets! When I need a skillet, I pull one out in a matter of seconds versus digging through hazardously piled pans that my family carelessly threw back in after they were clean. I did not have any issues with any of my pans fitting in the slot, and even my extra-large pan (used for sautéing large quantities of veggies) fit into the slot, but does stick out ever so slightly. The ONLY pan that does not fit into an actual slot is my deep-pan skillet, the one I use for making stews. I was entirely expecting that and instead use the very top rack for it to sit on top of. So counting the top space, this rack fits UP to five skillets. You do have to put the racks together upon unboxing, but its simply putting the two pieces together and putting in two screws to tighten the two rack pieces. The product (once assembled) is VERY sturdy. There is the option to actually screw it down in your cabinets, but I have not found the need to use it. —Ally

Get it from Amazon for $19.87+ (available in three colors).

    19. An iconic "This is fine" meme Funko Pop! figure, because you and your desk deserve a cute little buddy who captures your energy while you're at work/reading the news/just plain trying to exist in 2022.

Promising review: "Things at work have been super stressful lately, and as a result I’ve been losing morale. This little guy makes me smile whenever I’m sitting at my desk a bit frustrated. The lettering was fine on the mug I received and the paint seems fine. I would keep the cardboard panel with the flames on it to give it better context. I just taped the cardboard flames onto my pencil holder. Love this little guy." —Cheryll

Get it from Amazon for $15.20.

    20. Cloud Paint, Glossier's bestselling gel-cream blush that's cruelty-free, buildable, and absolutely beloved by reviewers, so it's ready to become your new holy grail.

    model wearing natural-looking pink blush
tubes of the product in different shades
    Glossier

Promising review: "I've been on the hunt for years to replicate that rosy 'just went for a run' look that my cheeks get when I work out, and the blushes I thought were close were either too red or pinky and artificial looking. I saw the shade Storm and I was worried it would be too dark on my light-medium skin but it's not! It blends *s e a m l e s s l e y* into a healthy flush that looks exactly it's my own skin and not makeup. The texture is unlike any cream or liquid blush I've tried, it evenly disperses the pigment as you blend it in with your fingers or a foundation brush and you don't have to worry about overdoing it." —BabydollyVintage

Get it from Glossier for $18 (available in eight colors).

For more info, read one BuzzFeeder's review of the Cloud Paint.

    21. An wowworthy exfoliating mitt you can use after a long shower or bath soak to get a simultaneously luxurious and kinda gross (but in a satisfying way!!!) exfoliation experience that'll leave you feeling like a whole new person.

Take it from the user below, who left one of the best and funniest reviews I've read in a while 😂.

Promising review: "Let me start by saying, I never knew that I was a walking, living, breathing mummy zombie lady. The first time I used this glove, I soaked in the bath to get my skin nice and prepped. I whipped that thing out expecting a bit of skin to fluff off, but what ensued was 30 minutes straight of scrubbing skin off that had built up since I was a toddler. I swore at one point I found old Band-Aid goo that had been buried under years of dead skin. OK, maybe that's not true, but with the amount of dead skin that came off my body, it could have been! I finally finished removing my snake skin and began draining the bathtub. What was left was like a scene from a horror movie. The entire bottom of the bathtub couldn't be seen because of the numerous chunks of dead skin clinging to it. That's not counting what went down the drain. I can only imagine that the creatures down there will one day rise to hunt me down and eat me because they gained an affinity for the taste of my flesh. I had to take an extra 15 minutes to clean my bathtub due to the gray, zombie skin that refused to be rinsed away. In other words, if you don't want to be a mummy, zombie person, this glove is your ticket to the living realm. Buy the glove, join the living — thank me later." —Shannon Graham

They don’t hold a lot — think martini or shot. Mine came with cleaning brushes which was a nice touch. They’re kinda impossible to clean otherwise. Glass quality is good. No scratches. reviewer photo of them holding the blue jewelry cleaning stick

Promising review: "This little pen brush is incredible! I wasn't sure if it would work well on my emerald engagement ring since it's mostly advertised for diamonds, but I thought I'd give it a try. I have been wearing the ring since getting engaged in October, and even though I had it cleaned at the jeweler's in April, it just didn't seem as bright as it was when it was new and I thought it would just always be a little cloudy. But after cleaning it once with the Dazzle Stik I was blown away by the difference — it looks as bright and sparkly as when I first got it! I'm so glad I didn't buy an ultrasonic cleaner since this is so much less expensive and easier and gentler — it took me less than a minute to clean and I can do it whenever I want! And it's honestly better than when the jeweler cleaned it. So thrilled!" —KFray
