Promising review: "Truly luxe. I bought Ember, but was afraid that it might be too dark of a mauve for my very pale, freckled skin tone. Well, I was wrong! It's absolutely gorgeous. The color is this perfect shade that almost reminds me of a nice glass of Argentinian Malbec, so it's perfect for date night. It slides on so well. It's perfectly pigmented. I don't normally wear lipstick, but I like wearing this." —Rebekka

Get it from Glossier for $18 (available in nine shades).

    5. Some 24-karat gold and hyaluronic acid under-eye patches ready to work their 24-karat magic on stubborn dark circles without requiring a Bruno Mars-level budget.

    Target

I recently became low-key obsessed with this stuff, as evidenced by my need to post the above selfie to Insta the first day I wore it. I think the really amazing thing about it (besides the sorcery that allows it to adjust to your unique skin tone) is how well it suits all different beauty styles. For example, I really don't wear makeup other than the occasional statement lip to suit my outfit. I never — seriously, never — wear natural-looking lip color. This is fun and makes enough of a statement for me to actually want to wear it. On the other hand, even though the bullet is super glittery, the finish on your lips doesn't look too much glitzier than a gloss, so even my typically sparkle-avoiding mom wants to borrow it!

(Psst...if you like my whole look in the selfie above, you can also get the earrings I'm wearing here).

Get it from Target for $16.

    12. A genius, travel-ready brush that comes in a compact case so it won't get powder all over your purse and is — get this — fully adjustable. Just slide it up or down to get the exact size brush you need to apply whatever product you're using.

    13. Elizavecca Milky Piggy carbonated bubble clay mask, a top-rated, blackhead-banishing mask that starts to bubble once you apply it. Name one fancy mask in in your collection that's this selfie-worthy, I'll wait.

    14. Elizabeth Mott Queen of the Fill eyebrow gel for a cruelty-free, natural-looking way to fill in your gorgeous arches. You don't need to ~brows~ any more, this is the product you want.

    15. Glossier Balm Dotcom, a cruelty-free and antioxidant-rich universal skin salve that you can use on your lips or anywhere else for moisture that actually lasts, so it'll put every other balm you've ever tried to shame. Reapplying? I don't know her.

    16. A sweet silicone cleansing brush that's more than just a cute face — just load this little dude with your cleanser for a sudsational deep clean.

Promising review:  "If you need exfoliant for your lips, there's something really cool about putting some volcanic rock remnants on them. This doesn't leave a weird residue, and it doesn't dry me out later (I did have this issue sometimes with the lip mask, not sure why). As someone who used to pick at their lips often (COVID has helped me stop this terrible habit!), I really felt I needed this to smooth things out. Thanks to Ilia, my lips are so smooth. It's a little self-care luxury, too!" —Mary K.
