I have not one, but two sentimental tattoos on my arm. The top is for my dog who passed away at the age of sixteen. The bottom is for a friend who passed away very suddenly at the age of twenty-two. I’m honored that I get to keep both of them with me each and every day.

I went to London and stayed with my friend for a week. Airfare, food, and souvenirs were about $1300. Not bad for a college kid on a budget.

I got this semi colon tattoo when I decided to end my battle with self harm. It was a simple reminder to help me keep going. Semi colon: A place in a novel where the author could have chosen to end a thought, but chose to continue instead.
