Ashley Benson Reflected On Being A Six Chick In "13 Going On 30"

"I cried my eyes out for days."

One of my favorite fun facts about Ashley Benson is that she played a Six Chick in 2004's 13 Going on 30.

There's Ashley in the light pink and white polka-dotted shirt, and, yes — that's a young Brie Larson right next to her. THIS CAST.

But she's never really talked about her experience working on the Jennifer Garner classic before she was famous — until now. Ashley stopped by the BuzzFeed office to share her "First Times" with us:

During the interview, Ashley was asked about her first memory of being a Six Chick in 13 Going On 30 — and she started laughing the minute she read the question:

But her answer was pretty priceless and relatable: "Having to cut bangs...I cried my eyes out for days."

"I don’t know how to do my hair and I think I was 13 or 14 when I did that," she continued. "It was just really hard for me to make the bangs work, and then the growing out period was really awkward.”

Luckily, just like mine did after I chopped my own bangs in the 7th grade, Ashley's bangs DID grow out and the rest is history.
