Promising review: "I'm always skeptical of products that claim to 'glide through,' but this brush actually works! I have very thick kinky-coily hair and this brush passes through my hair easily both wet and dry. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for a good detangling brush and yes, I'm leaving my Denman brush for this one." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "This is a great product! It removed months/years of product buildup in my hair that I didn't even know I had. After just one wash, my hair felt lighter, finer, more voluminous, and I needed fewer styling products to achieve the same results. I have long, dark, fine hair and I use this about once every two weeks, or once every four to five washes." —Katherine

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! I saw this as a beauty recommendation on BuzzFeed as a dupe for Opalex (which I had tried and wasn't blown away by) so I thought I would give it a try...I'm so thankful I did! My bleached and heat damaged hair feels so soft, is more manageable, and looks healthier after each use. I agree with other reviewers that it seems like a big price tag for the size of the bottle but a little bit does go a long way and it is so worth it. I wish it came in a larger size bottle so I didn't have to reorder so quickly." —Carly S. Whitson

Promising review: "I have been hearing about these and wanting to give them a try - and SO happy I did! I have very fine, blonde, brittle hair from years of coloring. I try my best to avoid traditional hair bands because they cause SO much breakage for me. I was on the hunt for a way to keep my hair out of my face at the gym, and these do just that. They are super comfortable, stay in place, no breakage and best of all, they add a ton of volume to my hair! Idk how or why, but they give the appearance of a lot more hair. I am so pumped! Never going back to regular ties. If they stretch out, I read you can just put them under the heat of your hair dryer and they return to regular size." —Cherish O.

Promising review: "These are my new holy grail for my wavy hair! I use these for my nightly top bun (“pineapple”) and I wouldn't use any other scrunchie again. These rarely snag. My hair tangles and breaks easily, but I've noticed 90% less tangling and breakage with these Kitsch scrunchies! It's wild! In the daytime and at the gym, I normally wear my shoulder-length wavy hair in a clip. But I've felt very comfortable wearing this scrunchie at work, on errands, and at the gym. The Kitsch scrunchie stays in place, and is significantly more gentle on my hair than even the softest clip or cotton scrunchies." —Gigi

Promising review: "I noticed a difference in my hair as soon as I used it. My hair is just past my shoulders by three inches. It's wavy, but extremely dry and has been shedding a lot lately. So I was desperate to try something new before losing it all. It’s so thin now that it’s a real concern. Right after the first use, I’ve noticed that it is shiny, soft, and much easier to mange. And it's tangle free and has body without being weighed down. It’s nice and fluffy. I LOVE THIS STUFF." —Aragonme

And! This just happens to be fan-favorite amongst the BuzzFeed writers — including myself. I have one of these shower companions, and while I don't use it every time I get sudsy, I usually run it through my hair after a few days of back-to-back dry shampooing. It really gets in there to clear up any buildup while also feeling like a nice little scalp massage.
Promising review: "I’ve suffered with dry, flaking scalp for about a year now (pretty much started when I was pregnant and hadn’t gone away). I have used tea tree oil shampoo, dandruff shampoo, coconut oil, you name it. I finally read somewhere that exfoliating the scalp might help, but I was hesitant because years ago, I had a shampoo brush and it was very rigid, the bristles were fine and close together, and it made my hair a tangled mess. Anyway, I saw this shampoo brush and it looked a lot more flexible so I thought I’d give it a try and HOLY MOLY my flakes are gone! It’s made out of a silicone-type material and the little 'bristles' are flexible but still get the job done. I can literally brush my hair with shampoo in and it doesn’t get tangled. It’s amazing. Not only do I have zero flakes now, I feel like using this does a way better job at working the shampoo in and getting your hair and scalp really clean. I have super thick hair and no matter how much shampoo I use or how long I scrub my hair, I felt like the back, underneath part of my hair would sometimes stay dirty. This brush gets all that." —Meg R

BuzzFeed Editor Kayla Boyd has one and tells us: "Ever since I started using a microfiber hair towel, I hardly ever use a blow dryer anymore. I'd rather not add heat to my curly hair unless totally necessary, so I'll wash my hair at night, wrap it in a microfiber towel and let it dry on its own. It helps my curls feel much healthier — and it keeps my hair out of the way while I'm doing my skincare routine."
Promising review: "If you have naturally curly hair, you need this towel! I don't know what is at work but it definitely reduces frizz and my curls come out much nicer after using this towel. It would be even better if the towel was a smidge larger so it would feel more secure while wrapped around my head. Even so, it's a great product and I recommend it to my curly haired friends." —KShats

Promising review: "I have long, fine waving hair that tends to lose volume and curl a few hours after I wash them. I need volumizing products and hairspray that holds my style and 'keeps' all day or at least longer than usual. This product gives volume and lift without falling flat and adding weight after a few hours; holds well in wind and humidity, so far it's the best hair spray I've ever used. Highly recommend." —Rose H.

Promising review: "I have thick 4c hair and I love this set. I usually have the smaller odds at the ends of my hair and have the bigger rods at the top of my hair. My hair came out so curly. It really reminded me of the movie star curls, because it has been such a long time since I have seen my hair curl without having to use heat to it. " —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "After noticing increased hair loss and breakage I researched ways to help this. Wearing a silk cap was one of them, which seemed weird but I was desperate. This is cotton on the outside and silk on the inside. There is an elastic band around the opening to keep it in place. It looks ridiculous but SO WORTH IT. I've noticed that not only is my hair falling out less but it stays shiny and way less greasy when I wake up. I am able to keep curls in my hair overnight as well – which is unheard of before. I've recommended it to everyone." —Customer123

Promising review: "This is a great product for anyone with dry, frizzy hair. I have tons of long hair with oily roots. I applied this (about two tablespoons) to the lower half of my hair after towel drying and let it sit in its towel for about 20 minutes. After rinsing it all out and air drying, my hair felt so good! Shiny, soft and no frizzy fly-aways. This product was totally worth the price and seems like it will last for quite a while." —Pandarus33

Promising review: "I recently went from dark brown to ultra-blonde hair and was recommended this shampoo. I was told by my stylist a purple shampoo would be needed to keep the blonde from getting brassy, and that other purple shampoos were not only pricey, but mediocre. The purple pigment in this is amazing, and unlike other products that I'd let sit in my hair forever, this is so pigmented that if left for too long, hair will get a temporary purple tint! I am absolutely in love with not only the price of this product, but I love how it truly delivers and makes my blonde hair gorgeous!" —LB

Promising review: "I have split ends, frizzy and, damaged hair from using heat and having a lot of highlights over the years. But not anymore! I spray this on my hair after I wash it (when it's still damp or dry) and I notice that it immediately helps seal my split ends and makes my hair look less frizzy. Overall, my hair feels so smooth and looks healthier. I like to use it after the shower, even if I'm not going to flat iron my hair. It smells amazing, too! —Belisa Almao

Promising review: "I received my elastic hairband and I absolutely love it. I can't have a bad day if I put this on and look at myself in the mirror. Call that what you want but I've had a hard time finding a hairband that works for me. I usually have to use a headband that puts pressure on that bony part behind the ear. It hurts! I appreciate that this has elastic to keep it on in the front as well as in the BACK. This sucker doesn't move which I appreciate when I'm trying to do my skincare/makeup. A small part of me wishes I could wear this in public but alas, no. Not socially acceptable unless I'm in costume or doing some sort of consultant work. Also, it's so darn cute... If you're even thinking about it, then DO IT!" —Jenty92210

Promising review: "I have to say this is the best conditioning product I have ever used. I have thick, naturally wavy hair that has been a nightmare my entire life. It does what it wants, it gets extremely frizzy in both humid and dry conditions and it tangles easily. In the summer it's even worse because I'm in the pool every day and the chlorine really takes it's toll. I've tried so many different conditioners I've lost count. I found this product during the summer when my ends were fried crispy from chlorine. I didn't think anything would make that much of a difference but after reading all the reviews I decided to give it a shot. I am so happy I did. I use just a little once or twice a week as a quick conditioner and when my hair starts really frizzing and looks dull and damaged — in the summer from the chlorine and in the winter from the dry air. I slather it on and leave it in for several hours. When I rinse and dry after it's like I have different hair. No frizz, no crispiness. It's soft, silky and smells great! I also get far fewer tangles than I used to and the ones I do get are much easier to comb out, which is a big plus for me. No greasiness, no heaviness, just soft, silky, awesome-feeling hair." —timonsgirl

Promising review: "Absolutely love this stuff! It's the one hair product I have to have. I rotate shampoos and conditioners but have never found anything to put on damp hair that I like as much as this. It says it's for curls, but works great on straight hair, too. I have had super straight to insanely curly over the years and have loved this on all hair styles." —Bunco Queen of the Universe
