Prince George made his first balcony appearance for the Queen's official birthday today.

Prince George joined his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to watch the traditional Trooping the Colour parade, held to celebrate the Queen's 89th birthday.

Prince George joined his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to watch the traditional Trooping the Colour parade, held to celebrate the Queen's 89th birthday.

The photos mark the first appearance of the 23-month-old Prince George on the Buckingham Palace balcony, where the family often line up for royal celebrations.

The baby Prince was joined by his father Prince William, his mother Kate, the Queen, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Andrew, and Prince Harry, amongst other members of the family.

The ceremony also marked Kate's first public appearance since the birth of Princess Charlotte on May 2.
