21 Messed-Up Movie Moments That Screwed Up Your Childhood
Walt Disney was a sadist.
We asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us some of the movie moments that made them nope the hardest, and it turns out there's a lot of childhood-ruining films out there. Here are some of the responses.
1. Coraline (2009)

"In the fucked-up movie Coraline, the Other Mother asks Coraline to stay with her forever – which is creepy on a whole other level. To do so, however, Coraline must let the Other Mother sew buttons over her eyes. When Coraline refuses the button deal, the Other Mother gets angry and we see her true form, which is a skeletal spider-like monstrosity. I had nightmares of this Other Mother for at least six months after originally seeing the movie."
