I wouldn't say #8 was completely true. It helps if you like your coworkers, but you don't have to like them as long as you can tolerate them enough to work with them. You're there to do a job and get paid for it, making friends is just a bonus.

Sounds like no one on this thread has heard of the "all in one" method, where you do just put everything in the bowl and mix it all together without the creaming step.

#18 yeah, that's why they say add it "to taste". For some people a teaspoon (for example) of salt is too much, for others it's not enough. They can't give you a "starting point" when everyone's taste is different, so the starting point is none.
