Each month you'll receive a new tasty food item from a restaurant known for that dish, based on your subscription which could include: pizza, pie, ice cream, bacon, sandwiches, and more. I've personally used Goldbelly to ship Magnolia's banana pudding from NY to my parents in NC for the holidays and it was a hit!

When signing up, you can choose how many people you're looking to feed (two or four) and how many meals you'll likely want per week (three to five). Each week, you'll have 16 meals to choose from. So you have an idea, some recent options have included crispy Caesar chicken with roasted carrots and garlic mashed potatoes, Cuban-style bean and rice bowls, and thyme-seasoned steak with garlic ciabatta and roasted green beans.
If you're going away for a week or know you won't have time to cook anything, you can always skip a week, too. It's truly that flexible.

My fellow BuzzFeed editor Kayla Suazo tried out Atlas Coffee Club and only had good things to say:
"My first observation after opening the box was the smell. It smells FAN-FREAKIN'-TASTIC. It also comes with sweet postcards from the cities where the batches are from, so the entire experience feels so lovely and personal. As for the coffee itself, it's heavenly. I am used to store-bought coffee — which, yes, is fine — but both of these tasted incredibly fresh and different from each other. The Peruvian coffee has this dark, almost chocolate taste to it, so I imagine it would be delicious with a morning sweet treat (maybe I should start eating pie every day?). The Colombian batch, on the other hand, was a little lighter roast-wise but still had delicious notes of rich sweetness. TL;DR: Both of them were incredible both in taste and quality."

BuzzFeed editor Elizabeth Lilly tried out Gobble's meal kit and was enamored! She said:
"Behold my beautiful shrimp dish that I whipped up in a mere 20 minutes and even my southern mama (a tough critic who often feeds me veggies in fritters and bread) raved about! After my Gobble box delivered, I, naturally, was served a Facebook ad about Gobble with a promise of 15-minute meals. This recipe card for Honey Harissa Shrimp didn’t specifically say it would take me 15 minutes to make, but I timed it nonetheless (also I had about a ~45 minute window before my next meeting to cook and then eat). I was able to whip up this meal like a fire was lit underneath me (again, my schedule; plus I was on the verge of hanger) and clean up after myself on the way. The packing of individual ingredients were easy to open (not always the case with meal kits!) and there was plenty of the marinade left to drizzle over my plated lunch.
I rarely have dressing/sauces/condiments left over in meal kits because I like my food *really* saucy. So this was a wonderful little side benefit! Did I mention that this was my first time marinating shrimp? And this was probably only my third time actually even cooking shrimp! It also made two generous servings of lunch, even though my mom had mentally prepared to have to maybe fix herself something else for lunch. Out of other meal kits I’ve tried, I’ve definitely been left with meager portions (guilty parties rhyme with Stew Bacon). So score one for Gobble in comparison to basically other meal kit I've tried."

BuzzFeed editor Maitland Quitmeyer has been using Hello Fresh to get her healthy meal fixes:
"For me there are three great reasons to try a meal kit like Hello Fresh right now: 1. to reduce trips to the grocery store without having to forgo fresh produce, 2. to get out of the same-dinner ruts, especially when we're cooking at home more than ever, and 3. to learn new cooking skills in a basically foolproof setting.
Here's how it works: You can select from the four preferences: meat and veggie, veggies, low-calorie, and family-friendly. Recipes come portioned to two or four people (but I find the portions to be generous), and you can get either three or four recipes per week (for the two-person plan) or two or three recipes a week (for the four-person plan). And of course you can skip weeks, upgrade to ~premium~ recipes (think surf and turf) for an additional fee, or change the number of meals at any time. When your box arrives, you get everything you need to make the recipe, chilled to perfection, and portioned accordingly (you just need to provide pantry staples like butter, oil, salt and pepper).
And the instructions? Totally foolproof. My fave recipe so far exemplifies how helpful Hello Fresh is for trying out new recipes and techniques — say hello to my little friend, tempura shrimp. I have thought about making at-home tempura for like.....years, but it seemed like a lot of work, and I'd burn myself on the hot hot oil.
But this recipe took all the scariness out of it — turns out I *didn't* need a whole pot of oil to fry these bbs up, a shallow fry worked PERFECTLY. And when I feel done with Hello Fresh, when we're no longer social distancing from the grocery store and I feel like I've learned enough, I will 10000000000% make this again on my own. And I've been thinking about the sauce (an easy mix of mayo, Sriracha, and apricot jam) ever since, and will put it on just every single thing from here on out — including just a spoon. And the portions are IMO, very generous — I could not eat what they'd consider one portion in a single night, and the leftovers always reheated just as deliciously as they were the first night. And the best part = you can access their database of over 2,500 recipes even when you're not a subscriber, so you can just use it as a cookbook when you're done subscribing."
Get a meal subscription from Hello Fresh, starting at $7.49/serving.
Each month you'll receive four bottles of wine curated based on your preferences — so fun and you'll always be prepared to give a housewarming gift when invited over to someone's home at the last minute.
