Here Are The New Cast Members Of "The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder"

    It's a family thing!

The Proud Family: Louder And Prouder, a continuation of the early '00s animation, is set to be released in 2022.

The original series followed 14-year-old Penny (Kyla Pratt) navigating life in her busy and sometimes embarrassing family. The revival takes place a few years later, and we're set to see Penny, Dijonay, Zoey, and the rest of the gang dealing with everything from social media to social causes.

Well, Disney+ have just announced some new cast members, and it's got me even more excited about the revival!

Billy Porter (Pose) and Zachary Quinto (American Horror Story) will be playing Randall and Barry Leibowitz-Jenkins, the parents of a new character, Maya, and I for one think they make a perfect couple.

And EJ Johnson (Rich Kids of Beverly Hills) will be the voice of non-conforming trendsetter Michael Collins – Penny's best guy friend.

It was also recently announced that Disney darling, Keke Palmer will be voicing newbie Maya, who has been described as a teenage activist.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, which will be available to stream on Disney+, will pick up from where we left Penny Proud, her wild family, and of course all her besties!
