What Show Or Movie Adaptation Poorly Executed A Specific Scene From The Book In A Cringey Way?

Oh...yikes.

Book-to-film adaptations can be tricky! Some of them are pure gold, while others are...not so much. However, an adaptation can come out perfectly fine except for one cringey scene that is so awkward, it probably still lives in your mind to this day.

For instance, Twilight is actually a moody, atmospheric adaptation that closely resembles the book, but one scene that might stand out in your mind is when Edward says this before taking Bella on a...wild ride:

Or maybe it was the scene in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when Ginny and Harry share their first kiss in the Room of Requirement, when we all know that the scene should have been set after Gryffindor wins the Quidditch Cup:
