You cannot convince me that some of the members of the royal family haven't been cloned for this show.

Season 4 of The Crown is on Netflix RIGHT NOW.

It covers the royal family's history from 1977 to 1990, including Prince Charles' marriage to Lady Diana and the Queen's tense relationship with Margaret Thatcher, who was prime minister at the time.

Here's what the cast looks like compared with the real-life royals they portray!

There are a few new additions to the cast, but the returning actors have also had to transform into slightly older versions of their characters.

Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II:

This is Olivia's second and final season in the role, since the role of Elizabeth will be played by Imelda Staunton starting next season. Claire Foy played the role in the first two seasons.

Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, the Queen's younger sister:

Vanessa Kirby played the princess during the first two seasons, and Lesley Manville will play her for the last two.

Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, the Queen's husband:

Jonathan Pryce will be taking over the role after this season, and Matt Smith played the prince during seasons 1 and 2.
