Kourtney Kardashian Has Shaved Off Her 5-Year-Old Son's Long Hair And The Transformation Is Wild

"I'm not OK" Kourtney wrote in the caption of Reign after his trademark long hair was shaved off.

If you're a fan of Kourtney Kardashian, you'll know that her youngest child, Reign, has been pretty damn adorable since he was born.

You'll probably also know that Reign's hair has become nothing short of iconic in the five years he's been on this planet.

In fact, over the years Reign's hair has grown more luscious than most of us could ever dream of, with him rocking a series of ridiculously cute hairstyles including buns and plaits.

However, it seems that the time has come for Reign to rock a brand new ~look~. And it turns out that his hair hasn't just been cut, but entirely shaved off!

Kourtney shared a photo of her son's transformation on Tuesday alongside the caption: "I am not OK."

She also shared this photo of Reign's hair after it was cut off on her Instagram story.

And it's fair to say that Reign's new hair went down very well with her followers. The post quickly amassed 2.4 million likes and over 30,000 comments from impressed fans and celebrities.

"He looks soooo handsome," Kim Kardashian West wrote.

"Omgggg the cutest," agreed Hailey Bieber.

And Kourtney went on to leave this comment confirming that despite the initial shock, she "loved" her son's new look.

While it's unclear what prompted the buzzcut, Reign's trim comes after years of mom-shaming and criticism directed at Kourtney over his hair.

Back in 2019, Kourtney was inundated with comments criticising Reign's hair and begging her to cut it after she shared this photo of him on Instagram.

A month later, Kourtney received yet more criticism on a new photo of her son — and this time she responded.

And, earlier this year Kourtney responded again after commenters flooded this post with messages questioning whether Reign was "a boy or a girl" and imploring her to cut his hair.

"Most gorgeous hair on earth. Anyone who says otherwise ABCDEFG," Kourtney said in response, referencing her Keeping Up With The Kardashians catchphrase which means "go away".

However, it's unlikely that the mom-shaming played too much of a role in the decision to cut Reign's hair. In fact, back in March, Kourtney revealed that she tries to ignore negative comments about her parenting.

"Once in a while, I may respond to a negative comment for fun, or if something really does bother me, I definitely have the platform to correct it … but I usually don’t think twice," she said.

"The worst is when people I don't know give unsolicited parenting advice," she added. "No one knows my kids better than me. I've got this. I'm good, thanks."

    Go Kourt and Reign!
