Justin And Hailey Bieber Dragged One Of His Fans Who Urged Others To "Go After" Her With Abusive Comments About Selena Gomez

"This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife, telling people to say that my previous relationship was better."

Justin and Hailey Bieber have been very happily married for two years now.

However, despite the pair recently celebrating their second anniversary with gushing messages to one another, some of Justin's fans are still hung up on his previous relationship with Selena Gomez.

Justin and Selena dated on and off for 8 years between 2010 and 2018. And despite both parties moving on with their lives, many of Justin's fans regularly bring her up in comments on social media suggesting that he's better suited with Selena than Hailey.

Last year, for example, Justin responded to a fan who left an abusive comment on a photo of Hailey saying that he "isn't in love with her" and only married her to "get back at Selena".

Well, the online harassment has continued. This time, a fan of Justin posted a video encouraging other fans to "go after" Hailey during a planned Instagram Live, and "fucking bombard" her with comments about how "Selena is better".

After seeing the video, Justin took to Instagram and defended his wife, describing the fan as a "sad excuse of a human".

"This sad excuse of a human just encouraged people on video to literally go after my wife telling people to say that my previous relationship was better," he wrote. "I just wanted to share this so that people get an idea of what we face on a day to day."

"It is extremely hard to choose the high road when I see people like this try and rally to gather people to bully the person I love most in this world," he continued. "It is not right."

Justin went on to request that his other followers focus less on those who try to "publicly degrade, shame and humiliate" him and Hailey, and more on "lifting [them] up in prayer".

"After watching that I could easily let it steal my joy," he concluded the post. "But then I think about life and how miserable she must be to want to spend her life trying to make others feel small. The lesson here is SHE'S THE ONE MISSING OUT."

And after Justin had published his post, Hailey decided to weigh in too, describing the harassment against her as "shockingly unhealthy and sad".

"I usually stay quiet and don't acknowledge these things because I need to protect myself," she wrote. "But it has truly gotten to a level of anger and hate that is shockingly unhealthy and sad."

"I would never in a million years wish for someone to be treated this way and I will never condone this kind of hateful behaviour," she went on. "I want only to support, uplift and encourage other women in this industry and wish them nothing but love and success."

"Wishing the young woman in that video all the best, and I hope she finds love, peace and happiness in this life," Hailey signed off.

This latest bout of harassment comes just a year after Hailey spoke about the trolling, describing the portion of Justin's fanbase who bring up Selena as "possessive" and "frustrating".
