We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, BuzzFeed may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.

lemon print cellulose dishcloth used to wash off lettuce

Throw them in the microwave damp to sanitize each night if desired, or wash in the dishwasher. Of course, can be thrown in with your other towels' regular wash as well! Just don’t use any bleach or softener! Love this brand the best!" —pea dee

    7. And a tufted storage ottoman with a lil' more pizazz than the shabby-looking "investment" you picked up in the dorm section the summer before freshman year. You're never too old to appreciate something pretty to hold your junk.

round upholstered dark gray storage ottoman with a pillow stored inside

Promising review: "So happy with this purchase! I needed storage in my living room and wanted something smaller that could double for seating. This works great. I choose to not use the legs; think it looks more loungey without them." —DIY Queen

Get it from Amazon for $61+ (available in seven colors).

    8. Seagrass storage baskets you can use to hide all kinds of stuff in plain sight. Those rainbow-bright foldable cubes are just calling attention to the stuff you haven't quite found a place for in drawers.

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in five sizes).

    11. Minimalist wooden utensils with silicone parts (and a matching container!) to replace those sad, melted plastic flippers you've been using since you moved out of the dorm.

    14. And while we're on the subject, some scalloped-edge flatware that won't break the bank – they'll feel like the fancy upgrade your heated-up chicken noodle soup is craving.

napkin beside of dinner plate on table with all five pieces of silverware in the set

Includes a service for four with salad forks, dinner forks, teaspoons, dinner spoons, and dinner knives.

Promising review: "I love this flatware! Seriously amazing deal, just a ridiculously good value, so I figured I would order a set because I had three mismatched sets of flatware in my drawer. These pieces are much heavier, sturdier, and better quality than my previous flatware was, including the Oneida set that was my 'nicer' stuff. And the matching set of serving pieces are so nice. I don’t feel embarrassed about my mismatched forks and spoons anymore, these are nice enough for guests and sturdy enough for every day. Love it!" —evs

Get them from Amazon for $17.99+ (available in 8 styles, and service for 8 or 12).

    15. A luxurious faux-fur throw without the luxurious price tag. But, honestly, it costs about the same amount as that novelty fleece throw that you're pretty sure was built for a child but you've been making do with for years.

arm chair with light gray faux fur throw

Get it from Amazon for $31.28+ (available in three colors and two sizes).

    16. A floor lamp with some ~flexible~ lighting options that won't look like an octopus (ya' know the lamp I'm talking about). BRB sending this story to my little brother.

living room corner with gold tone floor lamp with three arms on it

Promising review: "Aside from the fact that the lamp has a very heavy base, which I think we can all agree is vital for a floor lamp, but unlike more expensive lamps I have considered, there are switches on each of the lamp heads. If the heads don't quite swivel a full 360 degrees, the are very mobile and do have a lot of flexibility. Also, the lamp includes three LED bulbs.

I couldn't be more surprised or pleased. All in all this is a great value. Dollar for dollar, this is one of the best bargains out there. If you are looking for a lamp in this style, I highly recommend it. Being an old fart, who remembers when this style was first in fashion I can say that it is a fairly good copy, though the shades could be a tad larger, still very acceptable. For $45 I really don't see how you can go wrong. My only complaint would be that it is not also available in a brushed aluminum." —A. Pelletier

Get it from Amazon for $69.99+ (available in three finishes).

    17. And a showstopping table lamp to replace that minimalist desk lamp that also doubles as a pen and sticky note holder. So useful! But so tired.

rattan base lamp with light pink and geometric shape lamp shade on a side table

Get it from Target for $44.99+ (available with or without an energy-saving light bulb).

    18. A gorgeous velvet headboard because you.... Wait you didn't have a headboard in college? That's fine! Now's the time to invest ;).

    pink tufted headboard

Get it from Walmart for $379+ (available in four sizes and navy).

    19. A ~flexible~ shower caddy that'll hold all your toiletries — on the shower head or shower rod. Now that you don't have to carry your toiletries with you every time you shower, you can park 'em where you please.

inside shower with teal flexible silicone shower caddy that hangs around the shower head

Get it from Amazon for $17+ (available in four colors).

    20. A jute rope rug you can park in front of your front door as a drastic improvement from your OG that simply says "BEER."

front door with jute braided rug

Get it from Amazon for $21.99.

    21. A glitzy bathroom set to bring some uniformity to your sink area instead of whatever OK-smelling hand soap was the cheapest at T.J.Maxx on your last haul.

Get them from Amazon for $17.99 (available in five colors).

    22. And an incredibly organized beauty tower with a marble print on the side that'll distract from your bathroom countertop that is most certainly not marble. (Time to throw away that makeup shoebox.)

tall makeup storage tower with pullout clear drawers and marble print on the side

Promising review: "I don’t really write reviews, but I really wanted this to keep my makeup organized, it looked nice but I was worried if it was big enough to fit all my stuff. It passed my expectations. Not cheap and thin, but thick and sturdy. It looked really nice and definitely looks bigger in person. I love it!!! I’m soooo glad I got it and it fits all my makeup and plenty of room for more. If you need a organizer, this is one you won’t be disappointed with. 5 stars" —Carmen

Get it from Amazon for $35.99.

    23. A suuuuper soft bath towel (or even a bath sheet!) that'll prove it's the best investment you'll use every single day.

row of towels hanging up on a bathroom wall

What's the difference between a bath towel and a bath sheet? A bath sheet is larger and you can straight up wrap yourself in it, much like a bed sheet! But not as large as a bed sheet. Really, you aren't living if you aren't using bath sheets. I've been using Snowe bath sheets for three+ years and they just get softer over time. Oh, and these towels were our mid-price pick for the best towels on BuzzFeed Reviews.

Get them from Snowe: towel for $30 or sheet for $60 (available in five colors)

    24. An *actual* fabric shower curtain and easy-glide hooks because that cutesy plastic curtain and round plastic hooks are no longer cutting it.

Get them from Amazon: shower curtain for $15.99+ (available in three patterns and sizes) and 12 hooks for $9+ (available in four metal finishes)

    25. A pretty jewelry organizer with all the bells and whistles that tangled box of baubles or stick-on wall hooks just can't muster.

Get it from Amazon for $31.95+ (also available in black).

    26. A foaming handsoap starter kit you can re-up once it runs dry with a tablet you drop into water. Gone are the days of topping off that container of lavender Mrs. Meyers from three years ago with a gallon jug of drugstore soap. This one's tablet refill will take up FAR less storage space ;)

hand getting foaming soap from soap pump

This kit includes the glass bottle and three foaming tablets. I'm currently working my way through one of these at my kitchen sink (as part of the Clean Suite kit). It's super easy to pump with one hand, smells wonderful, and feels sturdy enough to last a lifetime as intended.

Get it from Blueland for $16 (tablet refills are also available through a subscription model.)

    27. Skinny velvet coat hangers with grip for days that'll take so much better care of your stuff than those miscellaneous wire and store hangers you've been collecting all this time.

    beige velvety thin coat hangers

I own these and love them! Seriously, no more slippage with tops and dresses. Plus they bring a gorgeous uniformity to my closet. And I'm not the only one! Check out our full review on the Prince & Spring nonslip hangers.

Get 35 hangers from Boxed for $11.59.

    28. Luxuriously comfy pillows so you can enjoy some vacation-level sleep on a Wednesday night at home.

    corner of pillow

You and I both know we don't wash or change out our pillows often enough. Oof. These were our budget pick for the best pillows on BuzzFeed Reviews. Go ahead, treat yourself (and your poor neck!) to some actual support. I bought these about a year ago and they are SUPREMELY comfy. Take it from someone who's constantly tossing and turning for the peak position.

five-tier open bookcase with house plants on it

Get it from Amazon for $109.99.

    32. Stemless wineglasses you can bring out for company rather than all the mismatched winery tour glasses you've collected from many a bachelorette weekend. (Feeling seen? Same.)
