    1. Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment goes on cooling and smooth, is easy to blend in, and will make you look in the mirror five minutes later wondering where all that redness went! I use it daily as a moisturizer under my foundation and some reviewers even use it as a CC cream. It's *that* good. And it has SPF 30!

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

Like I said up there ^, I use this every single day and to demonstrate just how well it works, I put it on half of my face in the pic on the left. Seriously, the color cancelling prowess is impressive. Also it took me nearly a year to go through the full-size jar. So if the price has you feeling iffy, you can try out a travel version. Seriously, I'm forever indebted to this stuff.

Promising review: "I have rosacea on both my cheeks and a bit on chin and also have a couple of acne spots on my chin as well and I’ve tried so many foundations to cover up my cheeks and no matter how full coverage my cheeks will still show through. So I decided to try this and I love it!!!! I use this after primer and moisturizer and then use a foundation (because I fake tan and my face is paler than my body) and my skin looks amazing!!! I’m so impressed! I love makeup but I could never really use a lot of face products because I was embarrassed. Definitely recommend if you have rosacea and want to wear full coverage foundation or even as a BB cream." —elyse1518

Get it from Sephora for $19+ (available in two sizes).

    2. And Dr. Jart Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Calming Gel Cream is also worth calling out thanks to its equally cooling effect on your irritated skin. Heck, even if you're not going through a rosacea flare-up, the Centella Rx will still feel incredibly soothing. (This is also a personal fave.)

the tube of the cream in a pool of the green gel

I don't use this every single day, but on days when my skin is feeling particularly irritated, I'll layer this on with other moisturizing products before bed.

Promising review: "I was so excited to try this. I have rosacea and have had this for over 10 years. Any moisturizer I use burns or leaves me with dry, scaly patches no matter what I do. I have been using this gel cream for almost a month and I am impressed. It goes on light as it is a gel more than cream, and moisturizes extremely well. I have noticed my redness has kept to a minimum, even in this summer weather and with a bit of a sunburn. I use this mornings before makeup and love it." —LenaGreecian23

Get it from Sephora for $48.

You can *also* get the matching serum for $47 but for me it didn't make as much of a difference for that price point versus a more affordable hyaluronic acid serum. The $23 spray feels nice, but I don't see a drastic enough improvement in redness thanks to it to *officially* rec it as a must-have for rosacea sufferers here.

    3. Glow Recipe Redness Relief Serum is formulated with ceramides to help reduce redness and irritation, while antioxidant-rich avocado works to deeply nourish your skin.

Promising review: "This product works really well for me. It feels very hydrating and it reduces redness a lot. I had red patches in various places all over my face and even some flaking skin due to mask wearing and almost all of that is gone after three weeks of use." –Leighlivie

Get it from Sephora for $42.

    4. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is a GOAT for many but rosacea sufferers will especially find its magic-like covering prowess helpful for when you're aiming for a full-coverage lewk.

model with half of face with concealer, half of it without concealer

Promising review: "Great coverage! I have rosacea and this covers it perfect!" —French Fries

Get it from Tarte for $29 (available in 35 shades).

    5. Bio-Oil is better known for its ability to lighten scars, pregnancy stretch marks, and other spots. But! Lots of reviewers say it does wonders for dry, super-sensitive rosacea breakouts.

    reviewer's hand holding the bottle

OK, so I've never used my bottle of Bio-Oil to specifically treat my rosacea. Yet, I've used it to moisturize my skin in the dead of winter or target super dry elbows and knees. This is gonna be your new fave multi-purpose skincare product. (Psst, a lil' goes a long way.)

Promising review: "If you have sensitive, dry skin, or rosacea, this is the product for you! I’ve been using this product for two years now, and I’m obsessed. I use it for uneven skin tone and dry skin. It’s super light, smells good, and never irritates my face. I recently had a massive dry skin rosacea outbreak and used this three times a day and it went away in two days!" —Beatrice

Get it from Amazon for $3.57+ (available in three sizes and multipack options).

    6. InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum offers up some seriously soothing and moisturizing abilities on the reg with its hyaluronic acid, but especially when you suffer a flare-up. Get behind me, Satan!

reviewer's pic of a very bright looking patch of rosacea breakout, then it lightened two days after initial treatment, then much later four days later

Promising review: "I absolutely adore this product. I recently had a horrible flare-up of rosacea. I knew that vitamin C helps to strength the walls of capillaries. So I began looking for a vitamin C serum to treat my rosacea. I did this on my own...this was not a prescribed treatment, but it worked. I will always have this on hand from now on." —Shauna L

Get it from Amazon for $17.97 (or Subscribe & Save for $17.07/month).

Vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without alcohol, silicone, nuts, gluten, and fragrance.

Promising review: "This has been a life changer!!! I suffer from rosacea so my cheeks and forehead are were always red. Figured I would give this a try because I got a kit with a few different items. Took some time but within a few weeks I noticed a significant difference!" —Belen

Get it from Ulta for $5.90.

    8. Glossier Solution has chemical exfoliants perfect for babes with super sensitive skin (which, tbh, I think most rosacea sufferers have!) to help lighten scarring, improve general skin tone, and slough off dead skin you no longer need. Say buh-bye to those physical exfoliants that leave you redder and more irritated.

Promising review: "I have spent years trying to find something that helps reduce the redness and bumps associated with rosacea. My skin is SO SENSITIVE, I had honestly given up even trying to use acne medicines as they just destroyed my skin. Even so, my skin looked terrible. It was so volatile, bumpy, and red. Makeup didn't hide it well, either. In January, I purchased Glossier's three-step cleansing and moisturizing system, and solution. My skin is amazing now. Honestly. I still get a few breakouts, but my once dead and dull, angry skin looks nice even without makeup! It's not fully recovered yet, but it's getting there. Thank you, Glossier!" —Kels 1.

Get it from Glossier for $24.

    9. Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Pore-Reducing Toner is made to target clogged pores and blackheads *but* reviewers who came for that have also found that it helps treat their rosacea!

Promising review: "I love this stuff. I have had skin issues my entire life — bad acne, rosacea, dry skin, enlarged pores — and this has cured all of that. After just two weeks, my skin is almost flawless. I’m very sensitive, so some nights I add a thicker moisturizer instead of serum and it works like a dream. Buy this!!" —Caroline

Get it from Amazon for $21 (or Subscribe & Save for $19.95/month).

    10. Era Organics Soothe Moisturizer deserves main billing in your daily routine thanks to anti-inflammatory ingredients like milk thistle, MSM, and chamomile. Seriously though, the reviewer pics are STAGGERING.

reviewer pic of very blotchy painful looking rosacea all over the face, then an after pic of the red irritation looking much lighter

Promising review: "I thought red blotchy skin from my rosacea was just something I was going to have to live with. I didn't want to use prescriptive drugs. I stumbled upon this product, and with the great price, I figured I had nothing to lose. The first time I applied it I was so impressed. It has an immediate cooling sensation on the skin, a non-greasy formula and absorbed quickly. Within minutes my redness was gone. I was in shock. the jar of the mask

Get it from Amazon for $18.

    12. Stila One Step, Color Correcting Facial Serum works as a makeup primer that's a step above the rest for anyone looking to create an even-tone canvas for foundation... or find a color-correcting solution that'd leave you makeup-free.

reviewer pic showing a very bad sunburn on the face then the same reviewer with makeup on and looking a bit tan rather than severely sunburned

This reviewer ^ used it to cover up a bad sunburn rather than rosacea, but good lord look at the calming/covering abilities!

Promising review: "I have rosacea all over my face, especially in my cheeks, sensitive skin with enlarged pores, and my T-zone is usually oily (I know, I have everything!). You have to apply one pump of the product on the back of your hand and mix it (it will turn green and don't be scared the color will disappear after it settles) and then you apply it all over your face, let it sit for one minute and you will see the difference. It's magic! For those of us with rosacea, we need to apply foundation as well, but this primer alone creates a nice canvas. The texture is weightless and it blends imperceptibly into your skin and won't clog pores or settle into fine lines." —UGdg

Get it from Amazon for $28.

    13. La Roche-Posay Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer is a common dermatologist rec (including from my derm!) with prebiotic thermal water and niacinamide to hydrate skin for up to 48 hours!!!

    the tube of moisturizer

As a person with formerly oily skin, I'm always worried that something super moisturizing will make me feel greasy. This does not! I use this bb all the time and really adore it. And like I already stated, my derm gave me a sample of this and said "Use this brand. It's great." And she's right!

Promising review: "I have rosacea and this product is a godsend in so many ways. It's completely devoid of the ingredients that can aggravate rosacea (oil, fragrance, dyes, fruit extracts, etc), but even better, it includes ingredients that can help improve rosacea. Ceramide and niacinamide can strengthen the skin's moisture barrier, making us less reactive to everything under the sun. There are many skincare lines that cater to rosacea skin but their products cost so much more. Hint: if you are having a rosacea flare, you might experience some redness and burning when you first try this (I did). Before you give up, try extending your skin care routine. Wash with a very gentle cleanser (the Gentle Hydrating cleanser is awesome), then wait 20 minutes. Then apply your rosacea medicine, wait 20 minutes. Then apply this moisturizer. Sometimes when you're flared, everything (even just washing your face) makes your skin mad." —CollegeProfessor

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available with or without SPF 30).

    14. And La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser, another essential in my skincare routine, tackles makeup without stripping your skin of moisture or triggering a flare-up. I can use this in the morning and at the end of the day when I wash away my daily drag. Seriously, no need to double cleanse!

two bottles of the face wash and a bottle of moisturizer
    @larocheposayusa / Via

Yet another thing my derm recommended! This bottle lasts for what feels like foreverrrr. While I'm talking about the brand, I also find the Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum to be super gentle and soothing on my face, and it soaks in super fast.

Promising review: "Very gentle and effective for my hyper-sensitive skin with rosacea and psoriasis. Decent rinsability, leaves skin soft and moisturized, but not greasy. This was recommended by Trinny London on one of her skin care posts, she is right! Great product at a reasonable price, highly recommended!" —Felis librarius

Get it from Amazon for $11.99 (available in two sizes).

    The bottle of cleanser

Promising review: "I have developed really sensitive skin that dries out very easily within the past two years after having my daughter and this cleanser has been a godsend for my face! I have an oily t-zone and mild rosacea on my cheeks (also acne-prone) and this cleanser calms my redness down while getting all the dirt and oil off my face without over-drying my skin. Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and does not cause breakouts. Would definitely recommend for anyone with sensitive skin." —Erin94

Get it from Walgreens for $8.49.

    16. Honeyskin Ultimate Face and Body Cream delivers results on all kinds of irritating skin issues besides rosacea, like eczema, psoriasis, and other rashes. TL;DR, it's good to have in your medicine cabinet.

reviewer pic of extremely inflamed patch of rosacea on cheek with raised rashes, then a lightly pink look at the same cheek a week later, then an even lighter view of the cheek a month into use

Promising review: "I am absolutely blown away by the results from using this product. I have moderate rosacea made severe by pregnancy, and was at a major loss as to how to manage it. Unable to treat my rosacea as I normally would and with my sensitivity at an all time high (I couldn’t tolerate anything more than Vaseline), I decided to give this a whirl and could not be happier that I did. I think my picture speaks for itself, but within one week this cream SIGNIFICANTLY improved my rosacea and sensitivity and by a month my skin was completely smooth with minimal redness and scarring left from the months long flare I’d been having. Fan of Honeyskin for life here!!!" —LR

Get it from Amazon for $15.97+ (available in three sizes).

    17. And the Honeyskin Face and Body Wash that some reviewers say is the best match for their sensitive, irritated skin.

    hand. holding the bottle

Promising review: "I have very sensitive skin and in my 30s. I've developed rosacea. I was using Era Organics and that worked pretty well until they changed the product, then it burned my skin, so I decided to try this. Immediately it soothed my skin and it calmed the angry redness from the rosacea. with this face wash my skin looks almost normal again, the best my skin had looked in years. Please don't change the formula!!!" —turtledove

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three sizes).

    18. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel-Cream packs in hyaluronic acid for a soothing effect on parched, irritated skin. And it won't clog your pores, bc as if you needed another thing to worry about.

two of the containers of the gel cream stacked

Promising review: "I've tried many products... including some high-priced creams. I suffer with rosacea and dry skin... so dry in fact that sometimes I felt like I have facial dandruff. My skin is very sensitive as well. Using this product morning and night has not helped with the redness ( I've given up hope on that problem) but my facial dryness is much-improved. I don't write reviews often. But somewhere out there someone suffers with the same problem I have, and perhaps this cream can help them." —Deanna LaForce

    19. Smashbox Photo Finish Reduce Redness Primer helps cancel out redness and preps your skin for whatever your day (or night) has ahead for you.

Promising review: "I have been using this Smashbox product since I was a teenager, and now I am a senior in college and I still swear by it. Whenever my acne gets really bad (now I’m having big and prominent red rashes on my face) and I do my makeup and I use this product as my primer, it all disappears. I don’t know what this primer has but it is amazing and lasts a long time. You only need a small, dime-size amount to apply all over your face and it will work. It also holds your make up all day." –nimbus99

Get it from Sephora for $14+ (available in two sizes).

    20. Weleda Skin Food contains chamomile, calendula, and pansy for a fantastic moisturizer folks with especially irritated, dry, and flaky skin will wonder how they lived so long without.

person squeezing some of the product into their open palm

Promising review: "Psoriasis, rosacea, sensitive skin, dry skin... you name it and I have it on my face. I am always looking for good moisturizing options that can hide flaky patches without making me look like an oil slick. This stuff is probably in my top two facial products. I took other reviewers' advice and apply a pea-sized amount before bed and wake up to soft supple skin with no hint of greasiness. If I want to reapply before I head to work, I generally mix half a pea-sized amount with a lighter Cerave facial moisturizer and apply all over my face/neck to avoid the oil slick effect as this stuff is THICK. A tip for those saying it’s too thick to spread without pulling at delicate skin — rub the cream between your fingers/palms and then pat it all over instead of rubbing it in. I don’t wear makeup because my skin’s too sensitive so I can’t comment on how this works under makeup but that does speak to how awesome it is for even the most sensitive skin. The scent is a bit ‘earthy’ in an herbal kind of way but I like it and it fades within about 20 minutes anyway." —Mistelle

Get it from Amazon for $18.50 (or Subscribe & Save for $17.58/month).

Promising review: "I've been using the original/regular micellar water from Garnier for about two years now. It's helped calm down my rosacea and overall, my skin is clearer since I made the switch. I believe they changed the formula for the regular and included a stronger fragrance, which I absolutely hated. When I ran out and went to reorder, I saw this lovely new product. I have to say that I am much more pleased with this one than the current iteration of the original. The scent is very mild and does not linger and it is slightly more moisturizing. My nose and my face are happier. I would strongly recommend this, even for sensitive skin." –Karen
