Based on the same murders as the _Paradise Lost_ trilogy, this documentary follows three teenage boys who were accused and falsely convicted of murder and spent almost 20 years on death row before being released.

[_She's Beautiful When She's Angry_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3319508/?ref_=nv_sr_1) will leave you with a new respect for the women who pioneered the feminist movement of the 1960s. It includes personal interviews with the women behind the movement, and touches on other topics such as racial tension and homophobia in the mid-20th century.

She's Beautiful When She's Angry

[_The Hunting Ground_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4185572/?ref_=nv_sr_1) is an Oscar-winning documentary, and for good reason. It focuses on the epidemic of sexual assault on college campuses across the US, particularly concentrating on two girls who are trying to draw attention to the problem. It will sadden and anger you in equal measure, and you'll be left wanting to take action.

The Hunting Ground

[_Particle Fever_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1385956/?ref_=nv_sr_1) tells the story of the physicists who worked on the Large Hadron Collider, and follows them as they prepare to launch it for the first time. It's surprisingly emotional, and amazingly exciting to feel like you're a part of this huge scientific discovery.

Particle Fever

[_Cooked_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5347906/?ref_=nv_sr_1) is a four-part Netflix-produced documentary series that follows an acclaimed food writer as he explores the act of cooking from a variety of angles. If you like food, this is a must-watch.

[_First Position_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2008513/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1) follows several young ballet dancers as they prepare to compete at the Youth America Grand Prix in New York City. The kids in the film are insanely talented and work incredibly hard, and you can't help but root for every single one of them.

You've probably heard of the Oscar-nominated film starring Steve Carell, but [_Team Foxcatcher_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5598216/?ref_=nv_sr_1) is the documentary that tells the ~real story~ of Olympic wrestler Dave Schultz and the man who murdered him.

If you just want to watch something light-hearted and fun, [_Twinsters_](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2980626/?ref_=nv_sr_1) is perfect – it follows Sam and Anaïs, two ~very~ similar-looking girls who were both adopted from South Korea as babies and who discover each other online by chance. The film tells the story of their quest to find out exactly what happened to them as babies. But I won't spoil it for you.
