We recently asked members of the BuzzFeed Community to tell us about the best things they watched on Netflix this year. Here are some of their recommendations...

1. Stranger Things

Watch on: Netflix Worldwide"It's a damn masterpiece. They say that casting kid actors is incredibly difficult, so it’s a testament to that show that every child actor is as talented as they are. Further than that, the show itself is brilliant. The story, music, attention to '80s detail – all of it is perfect." – Raines2382

2. Mindhunter

Watch on: Netflix Worldwide"It’s a slow burn for sure but that’s part of what makes it so intriguing. The characters and actors are great, cinematography is beautiful, and the plot itself is so, so cool. David Fincher is one of the directors, so it’s clear that nothing in the show is ever done without intention. Needless to say, I can’t wait for season 2!" – hayrenhag"I watched it after I saw that Stephen King had recommended it in a Facebook post, and let me tell you, he was not wrong." – mayalynn007
