The only thing I’m confused on is the whole speech Ted gave in that earlier episode about “45 days”… why 45 days? I don’t remember that episode well so I’m a little lost. Anyone know what I’m referring to and able to explain it better?
What am I missing? The before and after in number two looks the same to me.
Response to 30 Things Ohioans Love:
Cedar Point is definitely a good one, and OSU football. Some others I can think of:
-Saying “buggy” instead of “shopping cart”, or was that just a Youngstown thing?
-Handels Ice Cream (originated in Youngstown)
-Great Lakes Beer, especially Christmas Ale
-Driving to Grove City Outlets in PA to shop with no sales tax on clothes
-Constantly doing the “OH” - “IO!” in public places with strangers
-“The Beach” was always Ocean City, Maryland or Virginia Beach, VA
-Put-In-Bay for Bachelorette/Bachelor parties, or Geneva on the Lake
-Buckeye cookies (are they cookies? basically peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate)
-Cookie tables at weddings
-“The Youngstown Special” dinner at EVERY wedding and graduation party - roasted chicken, penne pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs, green beans, roasted whole mini potatoes, and sausage with peppers and onions (was this a thing anywhere other than Youngstown?)
-Giant Eagle grocery stores
