    It's been 40 years since Michael Myers first came slashing onto the big screen! So, here's a fun trip down memory lane with a look at the cast of this iconic horror film then vs. now.

    1. Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode:

    Fun fact: Jamie Lee Curtis is famously the daughter of Janet Leigh, who starred in Psycho — which was a major influence on Halloween. For example, the name Dr. Sam Loomis in Halloween was derived from the character Sam Loomis in Psycho.

    2. Nick Castle as Michael Myers / "The Shape":

    Fun fact: After playing "The Shape," Castle would go on to write Escape from New York, which Halloween creator John Carpenter also directed.
