    1. Which role or accomplishment in your life are you the proudest of? —theah49e5c5345

Natalie Portman: I'm really proud of my kids — they're really incredible. In terms of work, I'm proudest of directing my film, A Tale of Love and Darkness, and adapting it.

    2. If you were given the chance, which of your past movies would you love to make a sequel for? —jessicam40acc4f5d

NP: That's a good question! Maybe V for Vendetta?

    3. Who would you pick to be your partner in a buddy cop movie? —@prasejeebus

NP: For a buddy cop movie? Tiff Haddish, maybe?

    4. What message do you want viewers to take away from Eating Animals?

NP: The thing I'd want people to come away from Eating Animals [with] is seeing that factory farming is really the vast majority of the way our food is raised. It's not good for our planet, it's not good for humans, and it's certainly not good for the animals. So, looking for new ways of feeding ourselves that doesn't have to destroy living creatures and our planet.

    5. What's one piece of advice you have for young screenwriters and actors? —jennmeyer13

NP: For screenwriters, to really work on every character having their own voice. I think, sometimes, you definitely see the screenwriter's voice in there but you don't always see that the characters have different voices themselves. Actors, experience life because you want to be painting from real experience, not from watching other movies or TV shows. It's important to have a lot of life experience! Go out, live, try things.

    6. If you could shoot one film all over again and relive the same on-set experience, which film would you choose? —JSWS17

NP: Well, it'd be Black Swan because of course! I met my husband there so I would relive that any day.

    7. How do you prefer to unwind after a long day on set? —hannahm32

NP: Dinner with my Definitely wine [laughs].

BuzzFeed: Do you have a wine preference, white or red?

    NP: I'm red, yes [laughs].

    8. Which actress would you want to work with that you haven’t been able to work with yet? —PlaidBonnie

NP: Ooh! So many, so many! I have my friends who I'd love to work with, like America Ferrera, and I sort of worked with Rashida Jones. Julianne Moore, Cate Blanchett, Isabelle Huppert — there's a lot! I kind of want to work with actresses in general, we rarely get to work together.

    9. With all the new and upcoming Star Wars movies, would you ever reprise your role as Padmé Amidala? —Pianokeys2019

NP: Sure! But my character did die. So, it would take some narrative creativity for sure.

    10. Which outfit from the Star Wars films was your favorite? —Pianokeys2019

NP: Well, definitely the Padmé outfits were more comfortable. The queen outfits had some heavy headwear that was very beautiful — very beautifully constructed — but not as comfortable.

    11. What’s the most recent TV show you’ve binge-watched? —f43a9795ec

NP: One Strange Rock, the National Geographic show.

    12. What’s at the top of your bucket list?

NP: I'd really like to travel in Southeast Asia, like Cambodia, Laos, Bhutan...backpack through there.

    13. A Tale of Love and Darkness was an incredible directorial debut. Do you have plans to direct another film in the near future? —Yasna Cavieres

NP: I would love to direct another film. I don't have a particular's kind of in the creative phase of figuring that out. But yes, I'd love to direct again, and I will.
