    6. A set of matte hair clips if your giftee has gone all in (read: ALL IN) on Gen Z fashion.

    7. An initial pendant on a box chain if they want to keep their boo close at heart. Or, actually, their dog ā€” I'd probably want one for my dog.

    9. A set of satin pillowcases that not only have a cooling effect, but are soft on their skin and create less friction so their hair won't get as tangled while they sleep.

    10. An electric lighter that's rechargeable, portable, and windproof! Since it has a flexible neck, it's also much easier to use when their candle gets down to the very bottom.

Promising review: "Silly gadget, but my son LOVES carrots and recently discovered the joy of cooking. Heā€™s been perfecting carrot roses and now is willing to eat salads! Worth the money for that alone. I like the leaker side. I hate all the peelers Iā€™ve ever bought because they fall apart while using. This one works and stays together pretty well." ā€”Kristin

buzzfeed editor's eyes before and after using the mascara with the done lashes looking darker and longer
    Kayla Boyd / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed editor Kayla Boyd tried this out and raves:Ā

"As someone who isn't a big fan of false lashes (the glue irritates my eyes and I'm terrible at applying them) this budget-friendly holy grail does the trick for both lengthening and volumizing my lashes. After you've given it a minute to dry, it lasts all day long and doesn't smudge or fade. It seriously gives the effect of false lashes without the discomfort."

Promising review: "After using Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte for the past year, I got tired of breaking the bank over mascara. My sister suggested Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. It provides dramatic length and great volume. I can honestly say I canā€™t stop looking at my eyelashes in the mirror every single day because of how awesome they look. Also, it is very long-wearing. I go from an eight-hour workday right to the gym and sweat like wild...and this stuff doesnā€™t budge! I love it!!" ā€”Carrie E Weikert

Promising review: "This rolling device is like pure magic.Ā You simply roll it around your oily areas and BOOM the oil magically vanishes into the ball never to be seen again! This is an item that #tiktokmademebuy for sure! I saw a video on TikTok and immediately went on the hunt only to be disappointed that this item was sold out everywhere! I eventually got added to a waiting list here on Amazon and once they had it in stock again, they charged my card and sent it my way! If you have the chance to purchase this and you have oily skin, get yourself on the waiting list if you need to and just kick it until it shows up. You will be pleased. Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! I saw this as a beauty recommendation on BuzzFeed as a dupe for Olaplex (which I had tried and wasn't blown away by) so I thought I would give it a try ā€” and I'm so thankful I did! My bleached and heat-damaged hair feels so soft, is more manageable, and looks healthier after each use. I agree with other reviewers that it seems like a big price tag for the size of the bottle, but a little bit does go a long way and it is so worth it. I wish it came in a larger size bottle so I didn't have to reorder so quickly." ā€”Carly S. Whitson

Promising review: "I was in the habit of rolling a cold can of soda on my forehead to help with tension headaches and sinus pain but that was cumbersome and not always cold enough. This ice roller works so well to ease the pain from sinuses and tension. It froze very quick and I feltĀ instantĀ relief. The rolling motion even cleared my sinuses and I could breathe better right away. I love this. Would highly recommend." ā€”DT

    23. A Bluetooth-enabled eye mask so they can listen to white noise or the sweet, sweet sound of Cillian Murphy telling a "Sleep Story" ā€” in his trademark Cork brogue ā€” on the Calm app (highly suggest).

A reviewer wearing the sleep mask
A different reviewer holding the mask so you can see the contoured eye padding

After a bout of pandemic-induced insomnia I picked up one of these USB-chargeable masks and can honestly say it was LIFE changing. If you're sensitive to light or sound, this mask is where it's at. The contoured, cool-to-the-touch eye pads are super cozy and extra padding on the bridge of the nose ensures no light seeps in. I was concerned about feeling the headphones through the mask and not being able to sleep in my usual position (mountain climber, the hands down comfiest position), but they really are unnoticeable. I can sleep through the night with it on and the Velcro straps have never once gotten stuck in my hair.

Promising review: "Currently I share a room with someone who HAS to sleep with the TV on ā€” not sure if itā€™s for a night light or what, but it bugs me. They also sleep with it at an annoying volume. This means my dreams are interrupted by 4 a.m. music or commercials and it messes up my already messed up sleep cycle. Being over the constant arguing and back and forth about it, IĀ boughtĀ this and I LOVE IT!! The charge is great, they are super comfortable, and they fit comfortably over my head wrap that keeps my braids neat at night. If I play white noise or a sleep playlist, I fall asleep and donā€™t wake up a bunch in the middle of the night. It also helps with cutting down my nighttime phone boredom use. With the controls right on your forehead I donā€™t need to pick my phone back up to adjust the volume. It drowns out the TV enough that I can stay asleep with out having my dreams hijacked by infomercials but low enough that I can hear if my kids need me! Also no longer hear them snore or grind their teeth!!" ā€”Rhayvn

Promising review:Ā "I was a littleĀ skepticalĀ this could actually work. I bought it because I was going to be in a wedding, and the makeup artist had to back out, so we all needed to do our own makeup! None of us are girls who are great at doing makeup. However, we wanted to try our best and gave this a shot to help glam up a little. We tested the stamping on our hands first to get the idea of pressure needed and after that, it was ridiculously easy to use. I'm a huge fan of it now, and one of the other girls plans to buy one for her own collection. It's super easy. However, it's not super water resistant, so don't cry but it was smudge and sweat resistant. I applied it at like 10 a.m. and lasted until I took my makeup off post-wedding at like 1 a.m. Love this product!" ā€”Kindle Customer

My BuzzFeed shopping colleague Jasmin Sandal has this and loves it. She says:

"I didn't realize I'd ever use a makeup product in my 20s that had the ability to transport me back to something I used in sixth grade, but here we are; and here I am using a multitool pen... for my face. I gotta say, I love the concept of the Pen Pal from Alleyoop! After using all of the functions (eyeliner, highlighter, lip liner, eyebrow pencil) and as someone who LOVES makeup but was applying as little as humanly possible during lockdown, I think itā€™s a great tool for anyone looking to streamline their routine. It's ideal to use for touch-ups come the end of the work day, or a subtle, minimalist way to apply makeup in the a.m. The brow pencil is particularly soft and pigmented, and filled in my eyebrows quickly. I just adore the ease of application of each product, and appreciate the universal, does-it-all-for-you concept. Plus, it saves me so much room in my already overflowing makeup bag!"

Promising review: "Such a time saver to have this 4-in-1 tool! I use it daily and love that it is so compact." ā€”Lauren F.

You can even mark the date you opened it on the top of the stopper!

BuzzFeed editor Maitland Quitmeyer has firsthand experience saving her bubbly. In her own words:

"I love bubbles ā€” champs, cava, prosecco, sparkling rosĆ© ā€” they just know how to bring the party! But no one likes when sparkling wine goes flat, or you feel like you can't just have one or two glasses without ruining the whole bottle. So I went on Amazon and found the best champagne stopper I could find and immediately hit 'add to cart.' What a great purchase! This little bb is so easy to use ā€” just pop it on top of the bottle, push the metal sides in so it clamps on, then push the top button several times to vacuum seal and preserve the bubs. Then when you next want a glass, spritz, or mimosa, you'll hear that same *POP* you heard when first taking out the cork ā€” and the effervescence you so crave will be fully intact. Plus, you can confidently store your leftover bottle on its side in your fridge; I've had zero leakage problems with this thus far!"

Promising review: "I never thought Iā€™d be writing a review for straws, but here we are. These are FANTASTIC. I try to be as eco-friendly as possible but was ready to give up. Iā€™ve tried metal straws, but they are tough to clean and I donā€™t love metal against my teeth. Iā€™ve tried other reusable plastic and silicone options but they donā€™t work for thicker drinks like smoothies. These actually address all of my issues. Iā€™ve used them for thick smoothies, that I drink daily, and just for other everyday drinks like water. They couldnā€™t be easier to snap open and clean, dry, then easily snap back into shape to use again." ā€”M. Alexandria
