    The mall in my city had a merry-go-round, and while I loved riding on it and insisted upon riding it every single time we went, I was petrified of the giraffe that was on it. I wasn't afraid of giraffes in general, just that one in particular. To this day I have no idea why.

    I've lost count of the number of times I've watched Grave of the Fireflies, and I haven't watched it a single time without ugly-crying. And I'm not a big movie crier either. Hell, I teared up even reading this.
