We created a budget using our modified version of the “envelope system” (physically allocating cash to certain bills). Knowing exactly how much money I’m spending each week a month ahead of has tremendously decreased the amount of stress in our one income home.

The best decision we made was to stop planning a wedding and start planning a party. We struggled planning what we thought we wanted as a wedding but when we thought of it as a party for all of our friends and family, the planning came so much easier!
