  • I reread Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and rewatched the movie. Here are my thoughts.

    I recently went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. I realized I haven’t done a reread in at least a decade and had forgotten a lot of details. I also don’t think I’d fully marathoned the movies since the last one came out. I’ve decided to read the books and watch the corresponding movie immediately afterward to document my thoughts. Obviously, there are spoilers for a movie that came out 16 years ago and a book that was released in 2000.

  • I reread Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and rewatched the movie. Here are my thoughts.

I also don’t think I’d fully marathoned the movies since the last one came out. I’ve decided to read the books and watch the corresponding movie immediately afterward to document my thoughts. Obviously, there are spoilers for a movie that came out 20 years ago and a book that was released in 1997 (in the US).

    I love my roommate to death, but I don't like talking to my friend about my mental illnesses because she doesn't get it. She says she's "been there" and she pushed it down and moved past it. That's not how depression works at all. The point is I can't push it down or move past it.…

    I ran into my kitchen halfway through reading these and used bleach in the sink, Clorox wipes on the counters and table, and washed my hands for a couple minutes. I thought I was strong before reading. I was not.

    Carissa C. commented on Why Don't You Like Having Sex?

    I think, at least for me, the fact that we're supposed to be good at every sexual aspect is intimidating. Having a more experienced partner makes me terrified of sex. I get so in my head wondering if I'm doing it right or freaking out about even the thought of the act, the pleasure…
