Here's what we experienced piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy!

Hi Star Wars and Disney fans — Crystal, Brian, and Christian here! And last week we were lucky enough to get a sneak peek at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland.

Which, of course, meant we also got ride what is definitely the centerpiece of the land: Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

And while it probably isn't a spoiler to say it was an AMAZING ride, the post is going to be full of small spoilers (so if you don't want know anything about Smuggler's Run stop reading here).

    1. First: There is NO FastPass for this attraction. But, there is a single rider line (so if you don't mind riding alone it'll definitely save you some time).

    2. There is a minimum height requirement of 38", so plan accordingly if your Padawan doesn't meet the requirement .

    3. Make sure you download the Play Disney Parks mobile app, there is a whole section of the app devoted just to Galaxy's Edge — with one of the features on it being a scavenger hunt you can play while waiting in line for the ride.

    4. Waiting in line will also give you spectacular views of the full-scale replica of the Millennium Falcon, from both below and above.

    5. And there are TONS of Easter eggs to keep you occupied during the long wait in the queue.

    6. Heck, even the garbage cans have Easter eggs!

    7. Hondo Ohnaka (the pirate that gives you your mission) is actually an established character in the Star Wars universe. He was first introduced in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

    8. Also, your mission is to steal a shipment of coaxium, for which your group will be paid.

    9. Once inside, you'll be given a card with your "job" onboard the Millennium Falcon.

    10. There'll be a photo opportunity in the Falcon lounge before you actually board the ride.

    11. Before you actually step into the cockpit, there are little placards on the floor to help line you up based on your "job."

    12. The Falcon's right and left pilots have two different jobs. The right controls the ship going up and down, while the left controls side to side movements.

    13. And if you want to be the one who puts the Falcon into lightspeed, then make sure you're the pilot sitting on the right.

    14. The gunners protect the ship throughout the ride.

    15. It's the engineer's job to push the buttons that shoot the cables that attach to the train carrying the coaxium.

    16. Your group's final score is given based on how much damage the Falcon sustained.

    17. Also, if you cause a lot of damage to the Falcon you will see it immediately as you get out of the cockpit. The wires will making sparking noises and the lights will flicker.

Now that you know everything you need to know you'll be ready to blast off!!!!
