    A lot of us are a bit tired with the whole 'sequel, prequel, remake' carousel that the film industry has gotten itself into. However, if they're so keen on sequels, why not make some that we're actually asking for?

    1. The Nice Guys

    "It’s been five years since its release in February 2019; the fan-base is huge and keeps on expanding; and the anime-to-live-action adaptations are a thing now. It definitely time. Especially this particular IP, which the story gets so much better and better as it goes.

    Dune 2 is killing it in the movie theatres and in every single category so sci-fi titles will be again the new flavour in Hollywood; so really, I don’t know what Disney is waiting for…"

    "One of the greatest movie mysteries to me is why it isn't more widely remembered. That probably has bearing on why there has never been a sequel. It was based on a novel called 'Marianne Dreams', which itself had a sequel, 'Marianne And Mark'.

     I think a sequel, showing the central character as a teenager going through puberty, or as a grown woman, could be good, if done well, and drawing on the original movie."

    "I want a proper Black Widow sequel. I don’t want to hear 'but Thunderbolts', because no. I want a Black Widow sequel about NATASHA, not all the supporting characters. 

    I don’t have anything against the others, but can you imagine if that had happened with any of the men? They’d have back-pedalled so fast. It isn’t fair that she was one of the OG’s, even appearing before Cap and Thor, and she got one film after she died, that we had to BEG for. There are so many stories to be told with Natasha – not Budapest, it was a throwaway line, please, I’m so tired – but I’m never going to see them."
