Two different people returned boxes of chocolates that were half eaten. The guy said he didn’t know there were hazelnuts in Ferrero Rochers...even though the box had pictures of hazelnuts on the wrapper. The woman said hers had gone bad because they were a tiny bit gray.

Many libraries offer amnesty (usually depending on how much money is owed, whether books were destroyed or if the borrower is a repeat offender). Others offer payment plans or will cut your fine if you are in financial straits. It never hurts to ask!
