that one was a truly sadistic Sophie’s choice! Like…there are no winners there, lose any one of those and we all lose. :(

true. i wish it were a little longer, but as someone who has worn a full hoop skirt in public before— they are NOT easy to navigate, so i get the tulle tutu alternative.
i’m so into the idea of a muggle main! like…c’mon! 7 books of HP and the only muggles we got much of were the Dursleys. It’ll be nice to have a non wizard who is excited about wizards!

Response to Teaching Assistant Claims She Lost Her Job For Objecting To Kids Watching Video Of 9/11:
same. I was a freshman and was in my broadcast journalism class (of all places) and we watched it live, not knowing what exactly was going on. It wasn’t until the second plane hit that we realized this wasn’t an accident. My teacher kept it on because not one of us would have let her turn it off, but that was different. We didn’t know what would happen, we were terrified. We needed to know, to hope. Living a moment that goes down in history is very different than subjecting young children to it. i would never, ever, be okay with someone forcing anyone to watch it. I can’t even imagine how anyone would think that’s okay!
Glad i’m not alone.
