When I've visited the UK and Ireland I've noticed plenty of greasy spoons. Food is somewhat different (sausages and puddings instead of bacon and grits), but it's pretty greasy.
I feel like a psycho but I saw this in the theaters when I was 8 and didn't think one thing was wrong with it. I loved it. A couple years back it was on TV and watched with my 9-year-old son. It took me five minutes to realize it was a bad movie for kids.
