This post features a mix of items that we purchased with our own money and those that were provided to us at no cost for the sake of review. (But! We’re under no obligation to write a review of those things, let alone a positive review.)
1. A perfume inspired by The Summer I Turned Pretty, which has notes of grapefruit, blood orange, and bergamot for a citrusy scent that will transport you to a beach town where you can have an epic summer romance. (Okay, maybe it can't do exactly that...but it'll still make you smell super nice.)
"I'm so picky when it comes to any kind of perfume or fragrance — I hate anything that smells too flowery, or sugary, but I go wild for a nice fruity scent. So, when I tried Skylar's new Capri Summer scent, I was instantly in love. I've tried a few of Skylar's other scents before and enjoyed them, but this one felt very fitting for summertime. The top notes are grapefruit, blood orange, and bergamot, so you get this really sweet citrusy smell that feels like sunshine in a bottle. I didn't find it overwhelmingly feminine either, so it's pretty much the perfect buy for anyone who likes to smell good. Plus, I'm such a sucker for The Summer I Turned Pretty too, so every time I wear this perfume I like to think that I'm living my own dream romance down at Cousins Beach. 2. A Baggu zippered tote bag big enough to fit everything you need for the day — including a laptop. You can ~tote~ it with you as you head to work, a coffee shop, or just to run errands, knowing that whatever you fit into it can stay safe when you zip it right up.
"I feel like I own every type of tote bag in the world, but none of them felt quite 'classy' enough to bring everywhere — until one of these landed in my lap. I was already a fan of Baggu — I own at least 10 of their reusable grocery bags — but this made me a Baggu stan.
"This tote bag is thick, has a zipper (!!!), and is large enough to fit a laptop, which is appealing to someone who has used an ugly laptop bag to haul their computer around because none of their totes are big enough (that “someone” is me).

3. A Diggs dog crate worth the investment because all of the bells and whistles make it one of the most genius dog products I've ever used. Not only is it made of super high quality and strong materials, but it also collapses in seconds and HAS WHEELS, so you can move it around SO SO SO easily. If you've ever had a standard crate and shouted, "There has to be a better way!!!" then this right here is your better way.
I am obsessed with this crate. If you asked me the one product I would recommend a new pet parent should get, I would 100% say this immediately. I originally bought the standard crate that you find at a pet store the day I brought my dog, Winnie, home because, well, I wanted her to have a place to sleep at night. But after a few weeks, I was able to upgrade and try out this crate, and I will never go back to a standard crate again. There is no other way to describe this crate but genius. You can tell it's made of super high-quality materials, but it's not super super heavy. The front door has a handle that lifts to open and close (unlock and lock), and it's just so much better than the typical clasps and latches you see on every other crate. The best part of it is the way that it collapses in seconds and has wheels on it so it can be moved around. You can see how fast it happens in the gif above (right). I've taken this crate to my parent's house, my grandma's house, and even on a dog-friendly vacation, and I was able to pop it up and have Winnie's bed ready so she had a safe and comfortable place to sleep at night. And she loves the crate. At night, as I make my way to get ready for bed, she tucks herself in on the crate pad and her blanket, and she always looks so so cozy.

4. A Rhode peptide lip treatment that'll help restore and replenish dry lips and make them feel softer — without leaving a sticky residue behind. This tube may be a bit pricy for the size, but one BuzzFeed-er says it's absolutely worth it and may just become a product you use every single day (making your cost per wear basically nothing!!!)
"I, probably like many of you, have seen Hailey Bieber's line of 'peptide lip treatment' alllll over my TikTok and Instagram. And if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I am both a sucker for buying lip-specific products, but I am also VERY picky about said lip products. So when I placed an order for the three-pack variety of Rhode's peptide lip treatments, my expectations were low. I thought, at best, it would feel nice on my lips and have a nice shine, and I would use it occasionally. However, as soon as they arrived, I knew that this would be something I used every single day. And since I placed that order a month ago, that is exactly what has happened without fail. The treatment (which I have tried in vanilla, unscented, and watermelon slice) has never made my lips peel, crack, or feel too sticky. It leaves them feeling slightly plump and luscious without a lasting residue that leaves its mark on every (reusable) straw I use. And the shine is nice! It's subtle but lovely. It makes me feel fancy, even when I put it on before bed. At $16 PER a little bottle, I was surprised by how small the size was, but I love it too much to not buy more at this point. 5. A spotted rug for a stylish yet sophisticated way to bring a room together. Nothing says, "I'm an adult", like having a nice area rug that really makes your place feel like home.
"I have this rug, and that is indeed my place of living pictured above! I'm obsessed with this print. No really, I have shoes, clothes, and wall decals in a similar design. I think it's perfect because it's fun and stylish, but still neutral colors so you don't have to worry about it clashing with any of your furniture or decor. I really feel like it pulls my entire living room together. And although it can get dirty kinda easily (the downside of a mostly off-white rug), the print definitely helps it look not too bad until I muster up the energy to clean it." —Kayla Boyd

6. A pair of lace slip shorts you can wear under a skirt or dress to help prevent chafing and also from having a Marilyn Monroe moment when there's a big gust of wind. One BuzzFeed-er loves this option wayyy better than bike shorts because the lace is more breathable, which makes the whole experience more comfortable as you go about your day.
"These shorts are so comfortable — I barely know I'm wearing them. Whenever I wear a dress or skirt, I usually throw on some biker shorts over my underwear. But, during the hot summer months, the extra layer just isn't as comfortable. Plus, most biker shorts are really restrictive and tight. But these are stretchy, yet stay put. 7. An Evangelion x Casetify phone case any fan will simply adore because not only is the case super fun and different, but it's also high quality and will protect your phone even if you tend to drop it all the time.
Casetify does a lot of different collabs including, Disney, The Office, the NBA, and SO many more, if you want to find a case that ~fits~ your interests.
"I'm really picky when it comes to collaborations of any kind, but when I saw this Casetify x Evangelion collaboration, I had to get my hands all over it because it felt like Casetify did their research when it came to creating the tech products from the source material. As a first-time user of Casetify, I appreciate how snug the phone case is around my phone to make sure that it's ultra-protective (it hasn't moved an inch and it's quite difficult to pull a part from the phone itself, which means the case isn't going anywhere.) You may even feel like a Disney princess after you step out of the shower.
"If you're looking for salon-smooth hair that won't break the bank, this Glossy Rinse is about to become your new best friend! When it comes to doing my hair, if I'm being honest, I'm a bit impatient. I don't always have the time or energy to wait for results, and that's why I'm obsessed with this product. Use it before your conditioner, or in place of conditioner altogether. Apply to the lengths of your hair (not your roots), wait five seconds, and rinse! You will notice results instantly. "I've tested this out in my own bathtub and was blown away by how much unseen gunk came off (seen above, right). I sprayed it and wiped it off like three times before I was satisfied with the cleanliness of my tub — I blame my toddler, who thrives on playing in the dirt. "I ordered the floral print above for the summer, and it fits me like a glove! 😍 It truly makes me so happy to wear it. The built-in cups and one-shoulder bandeau top are super-duper secure while still being comfy, and the side tie is all for fashion, not function; it gives a flirty cut-out effect! My one complaint is how high-cut the bottoms are. That usually isn't my style, but it's still comfy and nothing I couldn't be more comfortable in depending on how I shave 😉. It's also great for actually swimming, not just lounging by the pool, and it stays put in the water. 12. A scratching pad bed your cats will love because it not only gives them a place to lounge and rest, but they can scratch and play on it as well. Plus, there are two pieces you can use together or move them to separate rooms so your fur babies have more places to scratch that are not your couch, rugs, or any other pieces of furniture.
"If your cats are anything like mine, it is incredibly important to have things for them to scratch pretty much ~everywhere.~ If not, these little monsters will claw my carpet, couch, leg, whatever they can get their paws into. My parents got a scratching bed similar to this and when I saw how much their cats like it, I decided to find something of my own. This was a great option for me because it comes with two pieces so I could put one in my living room and one in my office. 13. An Ube purple yam mochi for a nice little treat you can enjoy after dinner or really anytime you're feeling like you need something sweet. The ice cream in the middle is super creamy while the outside is soft and chewy (as long as you're patient and let it defrost a little before you take a bite.)
"I absolutely love mochi ice cream, AND I love ube — so this was the perfect combination. The ice cream is creamy but doesn't melt too quickly, and the mochi on the outside was soft and chewy. It's the perfect thing to eat after a warm meal, however, I do recommend taking it out of the freezer for 15 minutes so it's not super hard in the first bite. "Who doesn't love an exercise dress you can throw on and be ready in 5 minutes? And who doesn't love when the exercise dress is also kind of chic? I will admit, I saw this dress on TikTok at first and then managed to snag one myself, and I did not expect to wear it nearly as often as I have. The swishy skirt makes me feel like I'm at Wimbledon in the best way possible. And I cannot stand a workout dress that doesn't have a pocket for your phone, so rest assured that this one does. 15. And a Dyson Airstrait designed to dry *and* straighten hair simultaneously without the use of hot plates that can cause heat damage. Instead, it uses airflow to guide your strands and leave you with a good hair day in minutes. Your morning routine may never be the same.
"I've had the pleasure of testing out the Dyson Airstrait and, OMG, what an incredible piece of technology. Yes, I called this 'tech' instead of a beauty tool. While it is both of these things, I was amazed by the gadget-ness of it right off the bat. I literally had to select on an LCD screen what language MY STRAIGHTENER should be set to...wild. Anyways! The Airstrait has the ability to straighten both wet or dry hair — and does without the use of damaging hot plates. It uses directional airflow to smooth and straighten hair and, honestly, it is a pretty magical experience. The biggest learning curve for me was realizing the copper pieces (where the fan lives) need to face outward so you're not blowing your hair all over the place. The fan increases when you clamp the Airstrait around your hair (HOW DOES IT KNOW!?) and pauses entirely when you set it down (seen in the GIF to the left). Additionally, I have a toddler and am very limited on time. With this gadget, I was able to take my hair from directly-from-the-shower wet to natural-looking straight hair in only 10 minutes!
