Help kick-start your spring cleaning with products you know will work.
I would know because I've been using one of these for the past couple months. I used to DREAD vacuuming. I hated how long it took, how you had to keep stopping to unplug and replug in the cord, and how mundane the whole experience was. Well, not anymore. I honestly never thought I'd be the kind of person to get excited about getting a vacuum, but this baby is brilliant. I can vacuum my whole apartment in about 5 minutes (It's pretty small) without ever really stopping. Plus, it has different attachments that help me reach those hard-to-reach places (*cough, cough* under my couch) that haven't seen a vacuum in years.
Promising review: "This is absolutely worth every penny. Kudos to the inventor of this product. I have thick long dark hair, and after two months of moving into my own apartment, my shower drain was completely clogged with all my hair. After being disgusted at the amount of hair I had to clean out with a snake (which is NOT a fun task), I decided I needed to purchase something to prevent it from happening again. I read about this product on a BuzzFeed article, and I have no regrets. It is so satisfying to clean out, and it does not lie when it says it catches every single hair. I have had it for close to 4 months without once instance of my shower drain backing up. This product is absolutely worth it." —Jess

It has over 4,000 hook and loop micro-hooks to get deep down in your drain and get all that gross crap out of there.
Promising review: "I bought this after reading a Buzzfeed article. No, I'm not kidding. I'm really bad when I brush my hair after a shower, and then take the hairs off my brush and just put them in the sink. Yes, I know I'm creating my own problem. Anyways, I ordered this per Buzzfeed's recommendation, and I almost regret it. Why? Because holy s***, it gets things so nasty I don't even know what's coming up on this fuzzy little drain cleaner. Not only did I get a sickening amount of hair, but black slimy chunks along with some weird jelly white stuff came up. NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART OR WEAK-STOMACHED!! It almost worked too good, lol!" —Courtney

Promising review: "I actually found this product on a BuzzFeed article on things that you can’t believe you don’t already own. I figured I’d give it a shot as we have plenty of gross looking travel coffee mugs. I was not disappointed, in fact, I was blown away. I was amazed and even a tad disgusted at how gross they truly were." —Nanners1010

Promising review: "My cat never really enjoyed being brushed; we had one of those ones with flexible metal bristles. He would sit for a very short time and then walk away. Not anymore! My cat is very skittish so the sound of the velcro scared him in the beginning, but he quickly got used to it. He lays still, purrs, allows me to get his under belly a bit, and even allows me to groom his fur 'against the grain' which he would never do. Today was the first time I did that and you can see from the pics (above) how much fur I got. Love it!" —Alicia Mead

You get a caddy with a wand and six disposable sponges. Simply attach the disposable sponge to the wand, scrub around the whole toilet bowl, and pop the sponge in the trash (you never have to touch it!). You can also get more sponges when you're done with the included ones.
Promising review: "So, we have a toilet that belongs to the cats. We don't use it, we don't look at it, we like to pretend it does not exist. Even with semi-regular flushing, cat waste is pretty nasty stuff and built up quickly in the bowl. One of these wands cleaned it up in a single session! Before-and-after pic attached (above)." —Whitney

Promising review: "I fell in love with this product some 15 years ago, and I am so very happy that it's still available in the same wonderful formula as ever. It has a fantastic citrus scent. This takes care of any stain so fast and efficiently, it's become a party trick. I have seriously poured red wine over a white comforter to demonstrate how great it is to a friend once. It is a miracle in a bottle! We use it for all sorts of cleaning on materials around the house, and one bottle has lasted us years! This is definitely a product every home should have." —Melanie Nolen

Promising review: "I have had my carpet professionally cleaned twice in an attempt to get stains from the previous owner out of the carpet. I got nowhere. I saw this product in a BuzzFeed list, and since it is reasonably priced, I decided to try it. IT GOT THE STAINS OUT!!!! I couldn't have been more surprised, based on the money I'd spent to have professional cleaners come. The product did not get the wear/dirtiness out of the carpet but got ALL of the stains out. A HUGE step in the right direction! Wahoo!!!!" —Elizabeth Reamer

Promising review: "I have a pair of black leather flats that stank so badly my husband would yell at me if I took them off anywhere near him. But I love the shoes! So I had to find something to make the stench go away without leaving me with an allergic reaction. Mini Moso was the answer. I honestly couldn’t believe it. A few days after placing them in my prized off shoes, I took a whiff from about a foot away. Nothing. I got closer. Nothing. I stuck my nose practically in the shoe. Ok, maybe that’s pushing things, but I’ve got to tell you that 95% of the broken-in leather grossness was gone. So happy!" —Erin

I tried this product on my diamonds, Swarovski crystals, and Brighton jewelry and the results are nothing less than amazing!!! This restored one of my Swarovski rings that I have not worn in years due to the cloudy color to a sparkling brilliance just like the first day I bought it!! I cannot recommend this product enough!!! I just ordered additional wands so I don't run out!!! Home run Amazon!" —Kristina B.

Promising review: "I have NO idea why this product would ever have less than a five-star review. It is a great brush set — I used all three in an effort to get some mildew stains off the grout in my shower. NOTHING worked, but a bit of Soft Scrub (bleach) and these brushes worked like a charm! I then used the larger brush on the floor of the shower, and to remove some soap scum from the glass shower doors. WOW! Where has this been all my life?! Excellent product, works like it should in conjunction with your power drill." —SomeGirl

Promising review: "The headlight lens on my passenger side was so yellow and cloudy that I actually had a driver get out of his car on a red light and come over to my car to tell me! (Yes, thank you, I know.) I decided to try this kit because of its high rating and lower price. It really works!! The instructions are easy to follow, with photos to show you how the end of each step is supposed to look. I am a grandmother with (at the time) a bad shoulder, who had never done this before, and it turned out beautifully. So I consider it idiot-proof. All you need is a drill, and some auto masking tape, and even if you aren't drill-savvy, it's easy to do. I am so happy with the results, and highly recommend this kit!" —C. Ferry

Promising review: "THIS Therapy Premium Stainless Steel Cleaner is AMAZING. New dishwasher and and a hungry dog are NOT compatible! Our small dog, 12 pounds, had a habit of stretching up her front paws and scratching her nails on the dishwasher while her food was prepared. Not even days had gone by and the new dishwasher had little thin claw scratches all down the front. I had stopped her by placing a footstool to block her, but other family members had not, despite my instructions. I tried several cleaners and had resigned to having a scratched appliance. But ONE try with the Therapy cleaner — yes, a *miracle*. The scratches cannot be seen at all — polished right out of sight. The dishwasher looks even better than when fresh out of the box — it is gleaming. I eagerly shared the success with my kitchen remodeler, who installs many appliances, and I hope others can restore their stainless products. Try it!" —L. Peterson

Promising review: "Over the last few years I had noticed increasing problems with keeping my tub clean. Soap scum rings were forming within two days after cleaning the tub, and I was getting green and orange deposits on the bottom of the tub after the water dried. After using Oh Yuk, the amount of gunk that came out of the jets was truly appalling! It was an orange, sticky, mess. With this product, my tub stays cleaner and smells so much better! I was a little hesitant to try this product because I was afraid it might damage my acrylic tub. I emailed Oh Yuk and they got back to me immediately assuring me that the product is safe to use. It also has not harmed the bathtub finish or the pump seals in any way. I cannot recommend this product highly enough." —Lisa

Promising review: "This is a big step up from toothbrushes, which I have used for many years prior to buying these. Key improvements over toothbrushes: angled handles that get your hands up and out of the way, the handles are bigger and grippier than a toothbrush, the larger brush has pretty stiff bristles which are great for heavy scrubbing without scratching, the smaller brush has tapered softer bristles on one end (good for cleaning in tight areas), and the rubber nub on the other end of the smaller brush is surprisingly good for cleaning in tight areas. I replaced the four toothbrushes in my cleaning kit with these." —jfb

Promising review: "I don't normally review products, but this thing is a miracle worker! My microwave hadn't been cleaned in quite a few years. All kinds of stuff dried and cooked on the inside of it. I tried to clean it using kitchen cleaner, but that didn't work at all. I used this as soon as I got it out of the box. Everything came off really easily. I did have to wash the glass tray in the sink, but now my microwave is spotless." —Stacy Orth

Promising review: "I think these wipes are made out of magic because they can clean just about anything with very little effort! One wipe cleaned my ENTIRE BATHTUB, including the hard water buildup and some residual soap scum. The wipe stayed wet for the entire use, and there was absolutely no sweating involved. I hate cleaning, but I was so pumped about the tub I took wipe number two to my range hood vent and good golly it's like it's brand new. I've told everyone I know to buy these." —JenM

We tried everything on toilets when we bought a house and were about to replace them until we tried this. They look almost new now!! Promising review: "These blind cleaners are terrific! I've enjoyed cleaning houses and offices professionally for over 20 years and cleaning blinds is not always easy. I debated and debated what to buy, to try to make the process a bit easier. Within five minutes of using this, I was almost doing cartwheels — it really works! Best product I have ever used to clean blinds. My first time using it, I had eight different large blinds to clean, with skinny slats to boot, and this duster brush with refills DID THE JOB BEAUTIFULLY. I have gone from dreading cleaning blinds to actually enjoying the process. I could not be happier." —T.R.

Promising review: "All their products are great! But this new product they have developed knocks it out of the ball park! The pictures above are of a 2007 Nissan Titan truck I was detailing for a customer. The seats were disgusting and stained. I CAN ASSURE YOU ALL I USED WAS CAR GUYS SUPER CLEANER to clean the seats. I simply sprayed Super Clean all over the seat until it was damp, I scrubbed with a detail brush, then vacuumed all of it up and dried it with a microfiber. The results speak for themselves. This really is a SUPER CLEANER that is capable of cleaning mostly every interior surface and does an amazing job at it." —Joseph L.

Promising review: "Well, I can happily say that this cleaner does a bang-up job! My brushes were saturated with old color, to the point that I thought I might need to spring for a new set. Aside from just looking bad, though, all that old color was probably affecting pigment and application any time I used them. A little of this cleaner, a handful of seconds working it in and rinsing, and my brushes look practically as good as the day I bought them! Saved me a ton of money in new brushes, and it didn't take away from my being-lazy time!" —ysar

Promising review: "I never write reviews, but with this I had to. I've had this product about a month and a half and it is nothing short of a miracle. I have light cream carpet and five indoor pets. My husband and I work full time, so sometimes the chance for an 'accident' is not out of the question. We live on a farm-like property with a lot of dust and dirt. I used this on my traffic areas and just couldn't believe my eyes. The water was black, and my carpet looks as though it was cleaned professionally. When using this, you can literally see the dirty water being extracted from the carpet into the clear tank. One of my best purchases ever." —shannon m. adkins

Promising review: "Holy cow! I didn't realize how easy and quick it was to clean a garbage disposal until I bought this product! Typically, in my naïve thinking, I'd just use vinegar and baking soda down the drain and call it good. Little did I know that there was an actual cleaning product available until I stumbled across it through a Buzzfeed article. So of course, I had to try it. Very simple instructions: it literally takes five minutes and some hot water and VOILÀ! You have a clean, no-longer-stinky garbage disposal. Let me say that anytime I got a whiff of an odor, all I did was drop one of those packs in the disposal and the smell was GONE! Plus the blue foam bubbling through the sink was amusing to watch ;-). Worth every penny!" —VadersGirl

Promising Review: "This stuff is incredible. My rental apartment has a white glass cooktop and it gets nasty even if you use very clean pots and pans on it. Before I found this stuff, I thought that for sure I would lose a big chunk of my security deposit, but I have yet to encounter a stain that this stuff cannot remove. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries alternating between the paste and the razor scraper, but even the most stubborn burned-on, carbonized food bits always come off." —A Real Name
