I appreciate the complexity and technique that goes into these dishes. I would never have the skills to prepare something like that. These dishes do not look like vomit. The main components we see here such as the sea urchin roe, unagi, gnocchi, and the pork belly are all amazing ingredients alone. People who say these do not look appetizing probably have had these things poorly prepared, or not at all. Honestly, I used to be a picky eater but I decided to put down my pride and try new things. I had to get used to flavors I thought were weird, but the end result was really rewarding. If you are used to eating boiled chicken all the time, of course you’re going to think the spices in Indian cuisine taste weird or gross. You just have to ask, “Why do other people like this food?” Now, I can enjoy all new foods. I learn to not make a judgement unless I have tried similar dishes.
