My reaction to Pugh was “How the fuck do you say his name?” and then after seeing the video of his reaction to becoming a Giant “I LOVE HIM. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND I WILL ROOT FOR HIM FOREVER!”

agreed. Stupid fucking brown growing chocolate.
Says the man who used black students as props last week….
Ben is batman. DUH!
Yes, because no household with a mom and a dad has ever abused or neglected a child, right? They definitely do best just based on the gender of the parents. It has nothing to do with love or the ability to parent… Ugh. These people drive me NUTS. Let my friends get married and raise children. LOVE makes a family. Not the genitals of the parent.
Wait, why is this even a question? The page should just have one word on it. YES.
Awww, I wish they had the rest of the quote from the Model UN scene. Andy is the best. Highly quotable, very precious, totally awesome.
The moment I learned about this prayer (I’m Jewish but not very religious) was the moment that I knew I’d never really be a practicing Jew. Can’t perpetuate that shit! Of course she didn’t address that prayer. The fact that orthodoxy promotes the idea that being a man is preferable is abhorrant to me.
Amen to that. It’s not a quiet little town. It’s a privileged town full of a few great kids, and some who are so consumed with themselves and their own success that I’m amazed they can function. I go back because it’s where my parents live, but they too only moved there so we could get a great education. The teachers were lovely, the kids… the lovely ones come few and far between… Most were so consumed with getting into an ivy league school (they feel they have the RIGHT to get in) that they would sell their left foot for admission. There’s a reason that school doesn’t do class rankings. Parents and kids would be lined up around the block to protest little Jonny being 9th and not 8th. It’s freaking absurd. The parents are HORRIBLE to the teachers and blame them for bad grades instead of expecting the children to, i don’t know, actually DO their work and have some modicum of responsibility. There’s no concept of responsibility because mommy and daddy will buy them a new car if they crash theirs while driving recklessly. I’ve never met a group of more vile, privileged adults who pass that onto their children.
