When reading the profile of the suspects, I wanted to agree. The personality did not match the stereotypical perception of sociopaths. However, the truth revealed itself in the convenience store robbing and violent shootout at MIT. If something like this were to be a frame job the suspects would turn themselves in (or at the very least react nonviolently). Personally, this has been hard to digest. We like to think of violent aggressors as loners and detached from society. It makes their radical behavior more explainable and separate from ourselves. I encourage all of us to, not necessarily religiously, pray for everyone involved in this ordeal, suspects included. I also encourage us to not negatively idolize and publicize the suspects. The more attention given to them the more attractive violence becomes to those with severly altered neurological chemistry. Honor the victims and thank the Boston Police Department. Unity is most important at times like these.
