I've lived in Ontario most of my life and every house I've lived in and visited, you have to take your shoes off at the door. It's so bizarre to me that people would be okay with tracking all of the grossness we step on outside into a home when it's so easy to just remove your shoes.…Â
I think the other issue is the difference in speed limits. I live close to the NY border and here in Ontario, our standard speed limit on the highway is 100km/h. As soon as you cross the border, it's 55mph (I think), which translates to about 88km/h. So we're used to going faster…Â
