I would love to actually know where buzzed got this information. Since buzzed article always have a leaning bias I’m skeptical as to the accuracy of what they claim are historical facts. One thing I noticed was how renaissance beauty standards include large breasts but one look through an art history book or text will tell you that to be considered a beautiful pair of breasts at the time they couldn’t be larger than smallish apples. During the renaissance, the image around beats changed from something maternal to purely sexual. Smallish, perky breasts that have never known children were ideal.
