Another day, another rumor about a potential Mean Girls sequel being made.
This past year has REALLY been toying with our hearts, as talks of a reunion have happened basically once a month — only to be shot down pretty much a week later. #Heartbreak
This time, Lindsay Lohan told Time Out London that she recently chatted with Tina Fey about her idea for a sequel.
People really love the movie: how do you top that? I was with Tina Fey ['Mean Girls' writer] the other day and I said we should do another "Mean Girls", like an older version where they're all housewives and they're all cheating. That would be really funny. I'll harass Tina to write it.
While pretty much any storyline involving our favorite Plastics would be life-changing, we're not holding our breath about this actually becoming a possibility.
But in the vein of positivity: PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL, TINA. WE BEG YOU.
