Kesha Shared The Advice Beyoncé Gave Her When They First Met And I'll Never Forget It

    Words to live by, tbh.

If there was anyone I'd take life advice from, it would be Beyoncé. I mean, just look at the trajectory of her iconic 22-year career.

That being said, Kesha just revealed the advice Queen Bey gave her when they first met, and I'll never forget it.

"I’ve always been a fan, since day one – Destiny’s Child all the way,” she told The Face while recalling her first encounter with the singer on a UK festival tour. "It was backstage and she was like an angel."

"She said: ‘As soon as you know they’re snakes, weed ’em out.’ So, I’ve just tried to listen to that advice," Kesha shared.

“Sometimes it took a little longer for me to realize who around me was there for the right reasons or not,” she continued. “But I think I can safely say, as of right now, I am surrounded by really good people."

"[It] may have taken a couple of years, but [Beyoncé's] advice was well received. And that would be my advice to anybody in the music business," she concluded.

The "Praying" singer released her third studio album, Rainbow, in 2017. Her upcoming album, High Road, is due out in 2020.

Now excuse me while I go add "weed out the snakes" to my list of words to live by.
