The Untold Legacy Of Jim Freeman From The Legendary Five Satins
Ask any baby boomer or vintage music enthusiast their favorite rhythm & blues tune of the late 50s early 60s and they will all resoundingly state "In The Still of The Night." The original Five Satins group consisted of members Jim Freeman, Fred Parris, Lewis Peeples, Stanley Dortch, Ed Martin, and Nat Mosley. A song that was recorded in the basement of the Saint Bernadette Catholic School in New Haven Connecticut in 1956 fittingly set the stage to a divine career in the music industry.
