I'm a little surprised at the general reaction. I assumed it was common knowledge that the salaries for non-senior editorial positions and executive assistant positions in the magazine industry tend to be rather pathetic.
#11 Could be the Hum (a low hum/rumble/drone that increases in volume before it completely disperses)? It's a known phenomenon in rural parts of Britain since maybe the 1960s. I think no one found an explanation for it yet, though.

Netflix itself usually has little to do with the making of a documentary. They buy a doc that's already made or give filmmakers money to make one. Your call for caution should be applied to *all* documentaries, podcasts, books and other forms of nonfiction under any distributor including…Â
@pepper A film set medic would advise that because much raw fish can be dicey. It'd be like playing Russian Roulette. Hence, my surprise at Hill's claim. I do think he exaggerated for a laugh, though.
He also has a fantastic skill in making them believe he genuinely likes them, which usually relaxes them enough to open up more than they normally would.
