Savannah Graham’s art has travelled through time and space, in the literal sense. Her earliest memories of creativity trace back to drawing people at the age of three. The many years that followed she often wanted to give up art completely and pursue other, more practical ventures. But in the end, the act of immortalizing human experience through ink, watercolor, and mixed media inevitably prevailed. Now fully surrendered to this instinctual need to create, Savannah celebrates the many faces and stories she has encountered traveling from East to West. Her portraits are full of psychological scenarios personalized by her own little quirks. She and her cat reside in Pittsburgh, living off the essentials of popcorn and coffee, while draped in everything velvet.
