Thomas Tillman isn't a relic of the past. He's found a way to mix his upbringing in Philadelphia with some serious fashion and tailoring experience to create big style moments in the form of fine menswear. There's a misconception that fine menswear is boring suits with no flair. Millennials like a tapered slim fit, which isn't always customary in tailoring, or in fine menswear. But Tillman's outlook on the industry and where it's going is like a breath of fresh air. With scissors not nearly as sharp as his wit and insight, Tillman's vision extends way beyond his humble upbringing.
These days, it’s hard to be just one thing. In Hollywood’s Golden Age, actors were just that – actors. If you could sing, that was great. If you could act, sing, and dance, you were a triple threat. In the age of millennial power where multitasking is a requirement (not necessarily an art), actors like Ansel Elgort have actor, singer, and DJ behind their name.

If you thought Virgil Abloh was going to present a collection of streetwear for his debut at the helm of Louis Vuitton’s menswear division, you weren’t alone. Not everything is as it seems. And some things are, like the fact (now proven on several occasions) that Virgil Abloh is a new kind of visionary who blends vision and perspective with purpose and stories to create what we saw on the runway Today.

By now, you’ve seen the dress in all of it’s splendor. At St. George’s Chapel with her mother Doria Ragland in tow, Meghan Markle became Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex – a title bestowed on her by Queen Elizabeth according to a press release issued by Buckingham Palace just hours before she and Prince Harry wed. In a statement-making sign of strength and new female empowerment, Markle walked the steps of St. George’s Chapel alone before meeting Prince Harry. Perhaps a tell-tale indication of how Markle will rule as a royal.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. – Romans 12:2 (KJV)
