By now you've probably heard that the coronavirus is spreading like wildfire through the White House. Donald Trump was hospitalized for several days with COVID-19, and many others in his circle, including Melania Trump, Kellyanne Conway, Kayleigh McEnany, and Hope Hicks, have also become infected.
Many are linking the outbreak to the so-called Rose Garden Massacre — the event that Trump hosted at the White House on Sept. 26 to announce his nominee for the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett. There were more than 200 people packed into the Rose Garden that day, and videos show that there were very few masks and no social distancing at the possible "superspreader" event.
Well, yesterday, a leaked memo revealed that 34 White House staffers and contacts have now become infected with the coronavirus from this outbreak. As some have pointed out, this means that in the past week, there have been more new cases coming from the White House alone than from some entire countries.
