Kendall Jenner Has Been Called Out For “Making Mother’s Day About Herself When She Doesn’t Have Any Kids” After Kris Jenner Bought Her A Gift

In 2019, Kendall — who doesn’t have children — called Kris out for not including her in a Mother’s Day tribute to her daughters who are moms.

As you know, Kendall Jenner is the only one of the KarJenner sisters to not have any children, and she has repeatedly suggested that she is happy with this setup.

In 2018, the star — who is currently 27 years old — told Vogue that she was “ready to wait” to have kids, and that she doesn’t want them before the age of “28 or 29.”

That same year, she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that being an auntie to so many nieces and nephews gives her the best of both worlds and helps to satisfy any hint of “baby fever.”

Kendall explained: “I have moments when I'm like, 'Do I have baby fever? Do I want a baby right now?' But I don't! It's awesome because I have all these little babies to play with and then just give them back."

And she doubled down on this in 2019, when she shared a photo of herself sandwiched between all of her sisters’ families alongside a meme that read: “pregnancy is in the air. Me:” with a picture of a woman with a plastic bag over her face.

Despite being clear on her stance, Kendall has admitted to facing pressure from her family to have children of her own. Speaking to E! News in April last year, she said that her mom, Kris Jenner, and sister Kylie Jenner were the worst culprits.

Referencing Kris specifically, she said: “She will just randomly text me and be like, ‘I think it’s time,’ and I’m like, ‘Is this not up to me?!’”

And Kris sparked backlash during a TV appearance when she shared her hope that Kendall would give her her next grandchild. She said at the time: “I think it would be nice if it was Kendall. … She’s the only one who hasn’t had a baby.”

Responding to the interview, Kendall said that having kids is “not a yes” as she confessed that she is “indifferent.” She added at the time: “I’m just living day by day. But I do get baby fever a lot of the time.”

“I hang out with all of [my nieces and nephews], and I’m like, it would be so fun to have one, too. But, I’m chilling,” she went on. “I’m just living life right now as a free bird.”

However, being the only KarJenner sister who isn’t a mom means that Kendall is sometimes awkwardly left out of some things. For example, in 2018, the family decided that their annual Christmas card would be mom-and-kids only.

Kendall responded at the time by tweeting the final image and writing: “HA well this is awkward.”

And in 2019, the model seemingly took offense when she was left out of her mom’s gushing tribute to her daughters on Mother’s Day.

Alongside a collage of photos that included her own mom, MJ, as well as Kylie and the Kardashian sisters, Kris wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the beautiful Moms out there, and to the women who are mentors and mother figures to someone special.”

“To my beautiful daughters who are moms, I am so proud of you girls and the mothers you have become... my grandchildren are so blessed that God chose YOU to be their mommies,” she added.

“I love you @KourtneyKardash @KimKardashian @KhloeKardashian @KylieJenner… you are my heart,” Kris concluded the post.

And Kendall wasted no time in acknowledging the snub as she commented on the post: “Love you too mom!”

While the comment was likely playful, fans have now noticed that Kris appeared to take it to heart and has included Kendall in her Mother’s Day posts ever since.

Not only that, she also gets Kendall a gift on the day — which many fans are confused by.

A TikToker broke down the situation in a popular video after Mother’s Day on Sunday, pointing out that Kendall was included in Kris’s photo tribute and tagged in the post.

She then shared a screenshot from Kourtney Kardashian’s Instagram Story that showed Kris’s beautifully gift-wrapped presents to her daughters for the day, with a handwritten note on one of the gifts reading: “Happy Mother’s Day Kendall, I love you, mommy.”

“Kris is making sure that she feels included,” the TikToker explained.

But viewers felt that this is totally unnecessary as they questioned why Kendall would expect gifts and shout-outs on a day that celebrates moms when she isn’t one herself.

This was only heightened when fans noticed that Kendall had also left a comment on Kris's Mother's Day Instagram post saying: "not adding a picture of me and my animal children...wow".

“Why do some people have to do everything about them? Like, she’s not a mother,” one person commented. Another agreed: “imagine being butt hurt for not getting happy mothers day when your NOT a mum.”

“Not Kendall making Mother’s Day about herself when she doesn’t have any kids 💀,” someone else wrote. A fourth added: “Kendall is aggravating sometimes.”

“She’s not a mom. Participation trophy except you didn’t participate,” one more joked. Another claimed: “i bet she was that kid that cried on her siblings party for not getting a gift 😂😂”

And while some theorized that Kris got her a gift because she is one of the reasons that she is a mom herself, someone else countered: “She’s not a mum though. It’s like telling kourtneys kids happy Father’s Day because they’re boys.”

“Rob must’ve gotten a Mother’s Day gift too. 😂” one more joked in response to the theory.

But others insisted that the whole situation wasn’t that deep, and defended Kendall’s 2019 comment. One person wrote: “Y’all can’t actually be mad at this like she was joking around with her mom I do the same lol it’s normal💀💀”

While somebody else reasoned: “I understand her wanting to be in the post but a gift is a little extra 😂”
