I was at work, and an old man came up to me and asked if I was “a really ugly baby that blossomed later on” WHO ASKS THAT?! In his weird old man brain I know he thought he was being charming and flirting with me. (For the record, I was an adorable fat baby)

My grandparents on their wedding day. They were married for over 65 years, until my grandfather passed away. She knew her family wouldn’t approve but told her mother she was going to marry him anyway. (Super rebellious for an Italian girl in the ‘40s)

Sawyer and Finn - the adventures of Tom Sawyer and huckleberry Finn. (Mark Twain is buried in my hometown and I had to read this book 193292839x growing up) I also love Scout from To Kill a Mockingbird.
