1. Peter Pan and Wendy (or Tink!) From Peter Pan:

Provided to BuzzFeed

What You'll Need: For Peter, all green plus a thick brown belt and boots will do the trick. Wendy can wear a night gown or blue dress and be ready to fly. Think happy thoughts and refuse to grow up!

Historically speaking, Peter Pan was often played by a woman onstage... so you're just doing this right.

2. Sandy and Danny from Grease:

What You'll Need: If one of you has shorter hair, grease it back! Throw on your favorite leather jacket, roll up a pair of jeans, and tuck a comb in your pocket. Badass Sandy is always more fun, so she can rock all black as well.

3. The two badass cops from SNL's "Dyke And Fats" sketch:

What You'll Need: Two plain jane cop costumes, with some very creative props. Remember only you can say "those" words, you're the best cop duo in all of Chicago!

"We don' did it again!"

4. Poussey and Soso from Orange Is the New Black:

What You'll Need: A simple grey sweatshirt, made iconic by Poussey on the show, and tan scrubs for her boo. While you could easily be any couple from OITNB, why not be the best/cutest couple there ever was?

Spoiler Alert: Yes, Poussey is no longer on the show, but come on...

5. Any of the Rockford Peaches from A League Of Their Own:

Columbia Pictures

What You'll Need: Red socks, red hat, and a button-down shirt tucked into a skirt for the classic uniform. Bonus if you can grab a baseball mitt and rub some dirt on your face.

Remember, there's no crying on Halloween!

You can always just go the t-shirt route and carry around a bat.

6. Thelma And Louise from (obviously) Thelma And Louise:

What You'll Need: Another easy costume you can pull from your closet, especially if you've got that one pair of mom jeans just itching to see daylight. Grab a tank, grab a pair of shades, and grab a gun — you're on the run after all.

We can all agree Thelma and Louise should have gotten together, so you and your girlfriend can make it a reality this Halloween.

7. Your two favorite ladies from Game of Thrones — literally any two.

What You'll Need: Your best dress, plastic armor, or wooden sword depending on which character you choose. You'll also probably need to re-watch a few episodes to, you know, get into character.

You can make all your OTP dreams come true, and nobody has to die an untimely death! Who doesn't want to see the Mother of Dragons strolling around with Yara Greyjoy all night long?

8. Mary Poppins And Bert from Mary Poppins:

What You'll Need: Most items you can find in your closet already. Two button-downs, a scarf, a hat, a black umbrella. You can make a chimney sweep brush by simply spray painting a bathroom scrub brush... unless you have a real chimney sweeper laying around.

Poppins rocks a bowtie and Bert rocks a whole lot of soot.

9. Peppermint Patty and Marcie from Peanuts.:

Media Home Entertainment

What You'll Need: One green striped shirt, one red shirt with matching socks, one pair of glasses, and six very carefully placed freckles. Carry around some peppermint patties if people need a hint!

10. Megan and Graham from But I'm A Cheerleader:

What You'll Need: Pull out every pink item of clothing you have and put it on. Done! Pom Poms would be a serious bonus to pull off this cult classic look. Channel your inner angsty teen, that's what Halloween is for.

11. Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World:

Paramount Pictures

What You'll Need: The only tricky part of this duo is the iconic black trucker hat, but after that it's a piece of cake. Whip out your grungiest jeans, band t-shirts, and flannels — pray to the rock n' roll heavens. Garth will need his token thick spectacles as well.

12. Gertrude Stein and Alice B. Toklas

Hulton Archive / Getty Images

What You'll Need: Grab your finest vintage digs or head out to your local thrift store for some oversized coats and fancy hats. Last ditch effort, raid your grandmother's closet. Finally, print out some of the couple's love notes and carry around a little stuffed dog.

13. Sappho and a Gal Pal:

What You'll Need: TOGA,TOGA, TOGA — lady style! Strip those sheets and throw 'em on with a crown of leaves. Print out a few of Sappho's most famous works and tie them up in a scroll.

You two will be the ultimate in relationship goals, but clearly you're just gal pals.

A golden crown makes for an extra special touch.

14. Korra and Asami from The Legends Of Korra:

What You'll Need: To make Korrasami come to life you'll need to get a bit creative. Print out some patches to stick on an existing blazer, find that vest you never wear, and dig out your tallest brown boots. Get the color palattes right (blue for Korra and red for Asami) and you're good to go.

15. Marceline The Vampire Queen and Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time:

What You'll Need: Princess Bubblegum can be pulled off with an all-pink-everything outfit topped off with a simple golden crown (easily made from painted tin-foil). For Marceline, cut a guitar out of cardboard and throw on your best brown boots. The finishing touch? Those plastic vampire fangs you always loved when you were little.

16. Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn:

What You'll Need: OK, pulling this duo together isn't for the faint of heart. Poison ivy is easy enough with one green leotard adorned with fake leaves. Harley, on the other hand, might take some creativity.

17. Xena and Gabrielle from Xena: Warrior Princess:

What You'll Need: Some serious armor and accessories, this isn't an idea you can pull together overnight — but the results will be more than worth it. Get inspired from these convention costumes.

18. Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune from the Sailor Moon series:

What You'll Need: Need we remind everyone just how queer Sailor Moon is? Get on your sailor costumes and add some serious tweaks: big bows, tall boots, and white gloves. Some blue hairspray would finish everything off!

19. Something delicious:

Food knows no gender... and everyone loves food. Say it with me: Dress up as food.
