Netflix Canceled "One Day At A Time" And The Show Just Shaded Them For It

    "Where is the lie?"

This time last year, One Day at a Time was canceled by Netflix after three seasons.

Netflix said the "choice [to cancel] did not come easily" and that "not enough people watched," despite it being a fan favorite.

We’ve made the very difficult decision not to renew One Day At A Time for a fourth season. The choice did not come easily — we spent several weeks trying to find a way to make another season work but in the end simply not enough people watched to justify another season.

Fans and celebs both rallied behind the show after the cancellation with #SaveODAAT, hoping that the series would be saved by another network.

One of the most beautiful moments I had on set of One Day At A Time was when I got to guest star. Rita Moreno invited myself and @melissafumero into her dressing room. #SAVEODAAT

Hey @nbc...I hear you like comedies with built-in fan bases that do even better on YOUR network than at their previous homes...#saveODAAT https://t.co/5bIQYexpDz

In June, it was announced that the series had been picked up by Pop TV for a 13-episode fourth season.

Well, the network just released the first clip from the upcoming series, and the show hilariously shades Netflix within the first 10 seconds.

Allow us to reintroduce: The Alvarezs. 😂 Here's your first look at the season premiere of #ODAAT, returning March 24th on @PopTV!

The clip shows the family gathered in the living room and looking for something to watch...

...but they don't have any luck.

    And I oop!

Fans found the shade hilarious, and it definitely got them hyped for the new season.

@OneDayAtATime @fakebenwyatt When they said there was nothing good on Netflix I felt that in my BONES.
